Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Barmouth

First time we’ve ever done Airbnb, no issues at all! Lovely property, great hosts, what’s more to like? The Welsh weather could have been a bit better, surely Airbnb can sort that in future? 🤣🤣🤣

Simply beautiful, clean and lovely house. Also Eira was helpful and a great down to earth host. House has everything and also is at great locality. Llandudno pier is just 5mins drive. Plus lidl is just 2-3 walks and Morrison is 4mins drive from this place. Henceforth this will be my default place to stay at North Wales and also would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to explore north wales and need a beautiful peaceful place to stay with no negative points :) Thanks again Eira. We had a fab week celebrating my 60th birthday - a beautiful house in a superb location for walking, cycling and kayaking. Superb facilities and a great host.

Great stay, its a lovely quirky cottage and was really big inside. The green house is incredible and definitely a highlight! We had rain for most of the break, so it was lovely to shelter in there. Would highly recommend!

First time booking , what can I say from start to finish a wonderful host and amazing property. Simon was so informative about all our requests and advice regarding his property, location and amenities. The property itself was spotless , quiet and had everything we needed. Didn't want to leave if I'm honest. The whole experience was 10/10 and I've never slept so soundly. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable .

Absolutely amazing house. We stayed with our 9 month old daughter, her grandparents and our 1 year old Labrador and still had plenty of room. Beach is 5-10 min walk away with a beach club pub to stop in on the way home for a beer! Beach is absolutely incredible. Overall perfect house for a family especially if you have a dog who loves a good run on the sand!

The cottage was cosy, quiet and comfy. Everything we needed and a co op and morrisons not too far away but still felt in the sticks 😍 it was a lovely stay. My son wanted to see waterfalls and that we did. Also went on a steam train and went to the beach. would totally recommend. Caroline was very helpful and responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Esme's house and we were quite amazed at how well equipped it was. There were tea/ coffee, milk and Welsh cakes provided and Esme messaged on the morning of our arrival to say that the house was ready when we needed it. The house was ideally located for both the university and the town - all only a ten minute walk. Parking was a little tricky as we have a large car and the street was quite narrow. However, once parked, we didn't need move the car as everything was so accessible. The house was at a top of a hill, and we enjoyed the views over Aberystwyth. I wouldn't hesitate to rent Esme's lovely house again.

Lovely stay, looks exactly as advertised

We stayed at Ann’s for a weekend hiking in Snowdonia. The place is well equipped and really spacious, perfect for a few nights stay. The beach is very nice and only about 100 yards from the door, so plenty of opportunity to enjoy the sea view. An ideal location with plenty of nice hikes within 30-45 mins drive. Ann is super responsive and friendly and was really flexible with our checkout time. I’d highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic weekend at Haydn's flat. The place was very warm and clean with everything you need, home from home. Great shower! We enjoyed being at the quieter end of Llandudno, about a 25 minute flat walk from the pier which gave us time to walk off our meals! Plenty of eateries in the area, can recommend Carlos, Blue Elephant and The Goat. I couldn't quite find the flat at first as my satnav took me to the corner opposite, but Haydn was very quick to help me out. Place was nice and quiet with a corner shop and a Co-op nearby. Thank you for hosting us!

Perfect stay for climbing Snowdon. Clean, comfortable and had tea, coffee and milk which was a nice touch! Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay, right on the doorstep of the town. Ideal for couples or families to enjoy a break away in this Victorian town. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place and Alan to family, friends or even returning again for another stay. Thank you Alan and family.

We had a lovely stay at Jon's place. It was just as pictured and spotlessly clean. Jon was very responsive and sent great instructions. The location is great for exploring North Wales, and walking distance from the pier and some good restaurants. Highly recommend.

Lovely cosy clean apartment close to beach and in an excellent location to explore North Wales / Snowdonia. Host did everything she could to assist us and make our stay comfortable.

Great stay with friends at this lovely apartment. Location was perfect for our needs and for exploring North West Wales. Apartment was very comfortable with everything needed for our 3 night stay. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good base in the area.

we've stayed at Alyson's place a few times. The apartment is always lovely and clean, alyson is always there to meet you and is flexible with check-in, if the apartment is ready before the check-in time. Would definitely recommend.

Katy’s place was absolutely wonderful, what a find! It was so lovely to meet Katy she was warm and welcoming. The apartment was gorgeous, just as described, spotlessly clean, incredibly homely and beautifully decorated. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a lovely 4 night stay. The apartment is within 5 mins walking distance of the town centre. Lots of things to see and do. Apartment was quiet and clean with comfortable beds and a great shower. Easy check in/ check out with the added bonus of a parking space
