Monthly Rentals in Big Sandy Lake

Great place to stay. The only thing is it got cold at night and we couldn’t feel the heat even when we turn it up. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

- Host wanted a separate rental agreement, which wasn’t advertised, & wanted to use personal email. Eventually figured out how to do it via phone number, then had to give email anyway. The agreement was basically the same as Airbnb policy, so a little odd, but host was understanding & flexible. - Easy to find the place. - Garage was easy to get into. GFCI outlets for charging the PHEV. - Locks were coded to our phone number, love that. - Clean, no bed bugs, lots of extra blankets. - TV was OK, a little unresponsive. - WiFi was good. - Wood stove did not work, which was disappointing. - Couches are cheap microfiber, not very comfortable, but fine. - King bed was nice & firm. Sheets were a little scratchy. No white noise available, but quiet outside. - Thermostat was flexible & easy to use. - Shower was decent, low-ish pressure, but dual shower heads & nice soaps. - Hot cocoa on hand was bueno. - Had a decent breakfast at The Roasting House. All in all, a nice place to stay!

We had an amazing weekend stay at this peaceful cabin. It was exactly as described—quiet, cozy, and the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway with family. The surroundings made it easy to unwind, and we loved spending time outdoors exploring the nearby trails.

My husband and I rented out the cabin for a week in February as a way to unplug and focus on our hobbies. The entire cabin is so cozy! I absolutely loved writing in the dining area with the big beautiful windows and watching the snow fall. One morning we were even visited by three deer that came right up to the windows! Unfortunately we both came down with a cold halfway through our stay but the indoor sauna was a godsend. Everything about this place is so homey! So it was fine by us to just be locked inside, cuddled under blankets, and reading (and binging some shows). Would definitely stay there again!
