Evan was very communicative, very friendly, and it was a pleasure getting to hang out with him for a bit. Wonderful home, very comfortable, all the things you need to prepare food. Maybe a 20 minute drive to Nosara beach/playa Guiones where there is a lot to do. Not much going on close by but several great beaches within 10-30 min drive. There is public access to Ostional Beach but it was our least favorite of the beaches we visited. A few tips. The most happening area with restaurants and bars is Playa Guiones. Nosara town (inland) is not where you want to go. They call Playa Guiones Nosara for some reason I didn’t figure out why, but that’s where you want to go, tons of bars and restaurants and it’s good surf. For great beach to swim, safe, playful waves hit Playa Garza and don’t miss Pilos bar. For snorkeling and sunset hit Playa Juanillo 10 min north. Playa Palada was nice and more quiet with a great restaurant on the beach La Luna. And Sunrise Coffee nearby. Pura Vida.

Her hospitality is next level, which made staying in a remote area much easier for us. Miriam made the stay so much more enjoyable and saved our vacation by pulling some strings to accommodate a rental car for someone in our group. If you are looking to stay in a remote and peaceful area while having peace of mind with a great host, then this is your place. We will miss Guanacaste, and hope to be back one day. Thank you!

Our stay at Steven’s place was incredible. The place looks just as listed and is every bit as stunning. Steven was a very responsive host and was insightful about the area. The roads near the house are a little rough but totally worth it. I would highly recommend staying here.

This place was the perfect oasis for me and my daughters. Tucked into the rainforest with privacy, a serene and beautiful setting and no key sittings every morning and evening. Plus, the home was perfectly equipped with what we needed to chill at the house and cook a meal, dip and chill by the pool. Plus, Heather was available for any questions we had an all of her recommendations were so helpful to make us fall madly in love with Nosara! Thank you for the best time - we will definitely be back!
