Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bologna

Rosanna was welcoming and available by Whats'app during our stay. Central accommodation with easy access to the train station on foot which allowed us to leave the car on the grounds of the courtyard during our days spent in Bologna and Florence. In the middle of the Motor Valley where all automakers are accessible. She recommended nearby restaurants and stores to us. The place was very clean and the kitchen perfect for cooking in the evening. We particularly enjoyed the Parfin pizzeria (closed on Wednesdays but open on Sunday nights) a few minutes by car which allows you to take away to eat quietly at the apartment.

Our son was with his trainer for 1 week in Castel San Pietro Terme. They loved Cristina's place and really enjoyed their stay there. Cristina was very nice, helpful and accommodating. The apartment was equipped with everything you need. We definitely recommend it. If we are in the area again, we would be very happy to book with Cristina again.

A unique and special experience awaits you if you book to stay with Roberta and Georgio! Not only is the apartment spotless, charming and neat as a pin, but the are so many extras too. The local recommendations are excellent, and your hosts will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and provide you with everything you need (and more). Having a kitchen full of breakfast foods already stocked, made our stay with children so much easier. If you are looking for a holiday that is luxurious, culturally enriching and peaceful, then look no further. You will need a car to get here, but it's totally worth the trip. Couldn't have asked for more, and have never stayed anywhere better. Highly recommended.

Thank you very much, Piero and Everest, who was our contact. We had a problem with our rental car and Everest was kindly able to pick us up at the station. Even without a car, we found it is very manageable with an about 20 minutes walk to the train station. The house is very nice and we loved the nature. And the pie that the hosts prepared for us is to die for! Many thanks for everything, we definitely recommend Piero’s place.

Such a beautiful place to relax in the italian country side. Enjoyed Antonella and Vicenzo's carefully prepared breakfast! It was rejuvenating for the soul!

Mr. Guido is truly a super host! Very kind and helpful right away, as soon as you arrive he welcomed us in person and gave us all the information about the accommodation. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and we found impeccable cleanliness. The kitchen is fully equipped and the refrigerator is super equipped with everything you need for breakfast. There is private parking, the area is very quiet and very serviced by bus, supermarket, pizzerias, restaurants, tobacco shops. However, in a half-hour walk you can easily reach the center of Bologna. It was really nice staying at this b&b, we had a great time . Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

Diego was extremely helpful n responsive when I needed some directions to get to the apartment and offered excellent recommendations to restaurants and places to visit. His apartment was clean and as described in photos. Good n safe location and walkable to places of interest. Highly recommended.

A great place to stay, located in the center of Bologna. Quiet, clean and comfy. You can eat outside on the balcony when days get warmer. I met Elena’s husband when I arrived, and he was very kind and helpful. Recommended!

We had the most amazing time at Benedetta’s place. It really is a little paradise in the Italian countryside. The swimming pool is lovely, there is a lovely outside area where we ate dinner every night and the house was comfortable (if a little warm). I would advise people that there are lots of mosquitoes, obviously this is the case everywhere in Italy and has nothing to do with the property but make sure you bring lots of spray. I would also say regarding the reviews talking about lack of privacy- for the most part we had no issues with this. There was another family staying in the other property but they were friendly and didn’t bother us. There was one night where another guest arrived and was a little bit intrusive- we weren’t clear whether he was staying or whether he was just a friend who had come to use the pool- but Benedetta messaged us and apologised for this. It is a beautiful space and we were so relaxed and happy to be there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Really nice place! Incredibly beautiful surroundings and nice and clean accommodation. Lovely private terrace. The pool was super nice and clean, and we had it all to ourselves. Valter is very friendly and he was flexible both regarding arrival and departure. Although Valter doesn't speak English, communication works fine with Google Translate. Although Valter and his wife live in the same building, you don't hear much from them, so you feel like you have the place all to yourself. A very small downside; The bed on the 1st floor was a very hard. And from the description, you might think that there is aircondition in both bedrooms. However, I had already read in another review that there is only aircon in one of the bedrooms and a fan in the other. We highly recommend the place and would live to visit again some day.

We had a great time at Pizzicalaluna, both for the tranquility and beauty of the place and for Giulia's hospitality, always attentive to make us feel at home! Highly recommended!

We just stayed at Giulia's farm and found everything to be fantastic: the interior spaces, the pool and the garden are very well-kept, the cleanliness of the room and the attention to detail. But what makes, in our opinion, this very special place is Giulia's extreme hospitality, friendliness and humanity - which was not at all obvious - which went out of her way to make our short stay perfect, from offering us an aperitif to booking for us also a wonderful apericena in the vineyard on a nearby farm. Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. Giulia, the team and the dogs;) were absolutely wonderful! you can get drinks and great food and just relax in the pool or walk around the area. Bologna is also just 30 min away, which is very comfortable. The place feels like a home away from home, the perfect place to relax and enjoy good company

Absolutely fantastic host, very friendly and professional. Baricella was stunning, very peaceful and most importantly we felt extremely safe. I cannot recommend Ylena and her beautiful home highly enough. Her home felt like a home away from home, beautifully decorated, with all creature comforts that one would expect from a five star Airbnb stay. I will be back again for sure. Thx Ylena.
