Primrose cottage is something of a fairytale! We’ll remember our time at Primrose and in the Exmoor region forever. The cottage itself has a luxurious yet cosy feel, and the surrounding woods and stream are breathtaking. We enjoyed the proximity of the Rockford Inn across the stream for a beer, and enjoyed several excellent meals at the nearby Staghunters Inn. Getting in and out of the cottage (across the bridge) with luggage could be an issue for some people with accessibility issues, there are also rather steep stairs in the cottage to access the bedrooms - but we were all fine (ages 65, 66, 26, 29). This trip will go down in the history books for us as one most special, and the beautiful accommodations of Primrose Cottage surely contributed.

Nestled in a tiny hamlet on the edge of Exmoor, this cottage has the river up close that sends you to sleep in an instant. Pub is across the bridge and walks along the river to Lynton and across the moor are spectacular, even in grey February!

Our second stay here and once again not disappointed. This isn't the smallest Airbnb we have stayed in but it is by far the best. A real home from home. Wonderful bed linen a powerful shower and lots of little extras. Anna certainly goes the extra mile to make any stay comfortable and memorable .

A beautiful hidden gem of an air bnb with incredible care and attention to detail when it comes to the aesthetic and renovation aspects of the property. We had a perfect secluded new years family holiday here surrounded by beautiful ancient woodland and picturesque hikes. The cottage is faithful to its origins with beautiful antiques and rustic design choices abound. It’s also kitted out with great mod cons such as good WiFi, comfy beds and towels, central heating and ample hot water for the HUGE bath and generous shower. You can hear the babble of a small stream from your window that runs past the house which has a lovely calming presence when you’re in bed, I really loved that about this place. Oceane was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and we felt very lucky to be staying in their lovely cottage. Would definitely return :)
