Monthly Rentals in Canberra

Josh’s place was the perfect base for our trip to Canberra. Conveniently located near plenty of shops, it was easy to stock up on everything we needed. The neighbourhood was peaceful and quiet, making for a restful night’s sleep - woken only by the cheerful sound of birds in the morning.

The cabin was just what we needed for our two week stay in Canberra visiting family. The space was ideal for the two of us (elderly folk) and we used the separate bedroom for our clothes, storing suitcases, etc. Both the bed and the sofa were very comfortable and all the linen looked almost new. The kitchen area has an induction cooktop, separate oven, microwave, large fridge and washing machine. Excellent saucepans and frypans. However, as we use airBnB accommodation to cut travel costs by cooking our own food, a few extra items (coffee plunger, serving dishes, colander, tongs and breadknife, for example) would have been welcome. The area is suburban so there was background noise such as dogs and young children but no traffic noise. It is a short walk to the Watson shops (nice cafe, supermarket with fantastic deli, takeaway and chemist) and a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest light rail stop. Parking is outside on the road. Very comfortable and well appointed accommodation. The hosts were super friendly and very attentive to our needs without being intrusive. Would stay there again.
