Paola has a wonderful home and it is perfectly located. There is a supermarket a short walk away which we visited often since there is a full kitchen. We cooked frequently and even baked holiday cookies. We left the banking supplies and cookie cutters for others to enjoy. The house is conveniently located in the town of Erba, just north of Milan and a short bus ride to both Como and Lecco. Lake Como is so very beautiful and Como is full of many small shops that are fun to visit. We also took a weekend trip to Venice which was simply amazing. We stayed for a month but it could have easily been several months, we were so comfortable and happy at our short term home.

There isn't a thing I can say about how excellent everything was from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. Any questions we had were answered extremely quickly. The apartment was spotless and comfortable with sweeping views of the countryside and a real sense of being a part of the village. One thing, if you want to go down to the village, just beside the building is a stair case that brings you right down into it in about a minute! We drove a few times before we discovered it - don't drive, walk! It's well worth it. All in all, this was easily one of the best places we ever stay at and Mauro was truly a great host! We'll be back!
