Monthly Rentals in Castle Howard

Would give the cottage and Kitty, our host, a million stars if we could! From the beautiful landscape to the cozy cottage, we loved every minute of our stay. Kitty recommended lots of great restaurants and shops in nearby villages which we enjoyed checking out. Their are walking trails right off the property. We spotted all kinds of birds, deer, and loved the horses and cows nearby. The cottage is decorated so lovely and having a fire in the evening was such a comfort. It's very clean and supplied well with kitchen utensils, coffee, etc. We were genuinely sad to leave! We hope to be back soon, if Kitty will have us! Can't recommend a stay here enough, you will have a wonderful time!

Richard & Kim provided very informative written guides on anything one might need or like to do while staying at their lovely cottage. They looked after details in the cottage in a way that shows care and love. They even made us a handmade jam! It was our first visit to Yorkshire and they made it a memorable one. We had a comfortable stay that we enjoyed so much.

We had an amazing stay at Rosie Loft! It's beautifully furnished, extremely clean and cosy and has everything you might need. The views are stunning! Annie and Peter are fantastic hosts, really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We really hope to return soon and wished we could have stayed longer. It was well worth the long journey :) Thank you for having us!

Snowdrop cottage is an absolute gem and we had a fantastic long weekend here. It is incredibly cosy and well equipped with every detail thought of. The fresh baked cakes on arrival were a lovely touch. The rooms are decorated to a high spec and the whole cottage felt extremely well put together. The hot tub was a lovely treat too. The location is superb with loads to do, we walked to the Castle Howard Estate easily over the fields in about 25 mins and the local pub and cafe are also really excellent. Nearby Kirkham Priory and the Stone Trough Inn also worth a visit. We would not hesitate to visit again and have already recommended this cottage to some of our friends and family.
