Monthly Rentals in Castleside

Wonderful host and property. Children loved watching the sheep in the nearby fields, seeing the local horses and playing in the enclosed garden. Property was clean and homely. Had everything you need and more. Host provided lots of helpful information about the local area, and was responsive to any needs. Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable interior, very well equipped. Clear house rules and advice. Well situated with open views of the countryside. Very convenient dog exercising space - quiet private lane. Easy access to main towns and villages via open country roads. Situated well for access to National Trust property (dogs on lead) and Derwent Reservoir (includes off lead dog exercise area ) among others. Handy off road parking spot adjacent to the cottage. Very comfortable lounge, eating and bedroom areas with plenty of storage space.

We stayed here for my Fiancé’s surprise weekend away with friends. The accommodation is beautiful - so clean, the space is so well laid out and the site itself feels so safe and inviting. Jacqueline also helped with arranging a few extras for the birthday boy which I really appreciated! She was easily contacted - always responded to my messages in a timely manner and gave advice on what was around the area. Would highly recommend, and considering we travelled 4 hours to get there, we would absolutely visit here again. 10/10 from us 💫👏🏼

Carlene was a great host and made our weekend away simple and stress free, will definitely be coming again when we are back in the area!
