Wow! How wonderful was our stay at Valérie’s place! The cottage has historic character, and also modern conveniences that one expects when traveling. It was tastefully decorated with comfortable and also stylish furnishings. The art and decorative items were clearly selected with care by Valérie and reflected a French sensibility and also a refined curatorial eye. The kitchen was large, a great gathering space and missing absolutely nothing! This was the most well-appointed kitchen we have ever found in our stays. Loved the dishes and table settings! The living room is also large, the bedrooms very comfortable, bathroom large and showers great! Valérie was an exceptional host. She made many recommendations to us, including unique experiences that we would otherwise have missed. We would recommend a stay with Valérie with no hesitation and also encourage future guests to follow her suggestions for tours, restaurants and site visits. We did not want to leave!

We had a great stay. The hosts are very nice and everything was as described. Especially the outdoor areas were great for us. We either overlooked the cleaning fee to be paid on site or it was not specified when booking.

A lovely traditional property, with a beautiful outlook over the stream and fields. it is also quiet and peaceful. As we visited in April the house was kept cozy with a good central heating system which is very important for out of main season visits. The little house is well equipped and would suit a family of four. The outside space will be great for warmer days. The hosts were very helpful and responsive, especially as our French was so poor. The recommendations given for restaurants were excellent. I we found the location good for a base for our various trips out in Normandy. we even managed a day trip to Paris using the train from Caen. An excellent stay.

We had a pleasant stay. Well-maintained new house in a quiet area. Well located in relation to Caen, Bayeux and the landing beaches. Good relationship with the owners.
