Holiday rentals with beach access in Chicxulub

Loved the place! Beach front was just beautiful. Relaxing and peaceful place. Very good location. Loved the balcony in the front with great views and bird watching. We would love to come back!

We were so lucky to find this gem in Chelem. This apartment is great for a quick getaway or a long term stay. We stayed for a month and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the apartment gives a cozy ambiance that feels like a home away from home. The apartment is located just a block from the beach and restaurants. El Bullpen, Jill and Martin’s restaurant, is just around the corner. Their burgers are amazing and they have fun events weekly. Jill and Martin show care and genuine hospitality to their guests. They’re responsive, give great local recommendations, and are friendly and attentive to any requests. Highly Recommend!

Our stay at Paloma’s place was glorious! There is so much beauty surrounding the apt with long stretches of beach and much solitude. The apartment is really lovely and roomy. You can see the ocean from every room and the views are absolutely SPECTACULAR. Kitchen is well sorted and had everything we needed. Beds are incredibly comfortable and all linens are well appointed. Paloma has thought of everything and is super responsive, kind and helpful. I wish we’d gotten to meet! The only somewhat minor challenge is that the elevator was not in service and we had to walk 3 steep flights with heavy luggage. We managed, but it's something to be aware of. Also, the building has some construction but this was not at all bothersome or interruptive to our enjoyment of the amazing place. I highly recommend.

I liked the place, very quiet and cared for, the area is very safe, towels and sheets are very clean, everything is very clean. Thank you for lending us your house, although we were not there much, we were going to a wedding and in arrangements spent the time.

The great apartment, in a great location with a very nice beach. The host is always attentive and very kind. I would definitely stay there again.

Sonya’s place was exactly what we needed for a restful week. Hearing the waves day and night made relaxing easy! The studio is so comfortable and sitting on the porch was the perfect way to end each day. Sonya is absolutely lovely. She arranged for airport transfers and gave a ton of recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The town of Chuburná is walkable and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

We booked this Airbnb last minute and Francisco was very responsive (answering within minutes) and helpful with all my questions. I was working remote so I needed to make sure the internet was good, and it was great! I had no issues with speed or connection at all. The beds were really comfortable with the softest sheets I've ever slept on. Everything felt very clean and fresh. The beach was beautiful, residents in the building cleaned the beach every morning so there was no sea weed or shells. The condo was really well designed, beautiful furniture, smart TV with netflix, etc. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was great, the 4th bathroom near the kitchen smelt a bit like sewage, but it was very clean and we just kept the door shut so it didn't bother us. Finally the location was really easy to find, there are some restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk and we used uber to visit Progreso which only cost like $3 CAD each time. Definitely recommend this Airbnb!

Home away from home! Our stay was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Convenient location and seamless check-in made it a perfect choice for a comfortable getaway. Its walkable to all, like restaurants and especially the beach. The host response to all questions and very friendly.

We had a great stay—the place was very clean, with a well-appointed kitchen and lots of thoughtful extras. The bed was comfortable, and overall, it was a positive experience. However, the key system was quite complicated, requiring multiple keys for different locks, which made access and departure a bit frustrating. There was no information book or details on local activities, which would have been helpful. Some windows lacked curtains, reducing privacy and shade. It was also a bit weird that using the hammock came at an extra cost. Despite these small inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the well-maintained space.

The house is in a great location , very roomy and comfortable. We lost power, as will happen at the beach. Maria Fernanda was helpful and checked in often to see if we needed anything. Would definately rent here again!

My husband and I just got home after a month long stay. This was our second year staying at this house and it felt like home to us, along with the community, which we absolutely love. Just across from the beach where we would take a long walk every morning. My husband fished off the beach every day. The house has a gorgeous pool area in the back where we spent a lot of time. The house is very well equipped, comfortable beds…I can’t say enough good things about it. Roger is a wonderful, responsive host, and his friend, Mike, across the street was a great guy who helped us out whenever we had need. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we miss the house and the community very much!

We had a great time staying at this Airbnb! The pictures really don’t do it justice, it’s a huge open concept house that is just beautiful! Lots of natural light and positioned right on the beach. We spent a lot of time walking the beach looking for shells, swimming in both the ocean and the pool, and hanging out on the amazing roof set-up. Additionally, the recommended catering/ private chef experience was truly a delight. Great food & great people, would highly recommend. Local restaurants are also great, so much delicious seafood! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here and would readily recommend it in the future or return ourselves. Thank you to all the hosts for a great stay!

The place is amazing for a large family and with little ones! The beach is delicious and the ocean view is unparalleled. Communication was excellent, we will definitely be back.

Juan was amazing, always very helpful and accommodated us much more than he had to. The house was ready early, so he let us check-in in the morning. We didn’t fly til 8 so he let us stay until 4 instead of being in limbo..Keys in the lockbox, and house was amazing! Open the double patio doors and there is the pool and the beach.. pelicans diving, fish jumping, fishermen netting.. nice long beach to walk to the right. OXXO and Seven around the corner. 20 pesos to town for fruit markets, groceries, restaurants and liquor. We enjoyed our stay very much. The washer quit one day and Juan came to pick it up, am had it fixed and returned in a couple of days. Always quick response and very helpful.. would stay again for sure!

We had an amazing stay at Elena's condo! The place is clean, great location and had everything you need to call it "home" for your stay. Washer and dryer in the unit is a bonus! The pool is great and they look after it daily. Elena was very prompt with her replies and was always available or had someone available if you have any questions or need anything Thank you Elena for a great stay and positive experience! We would definitely recommend and be back!!

Very nice apartment the photos coincide with the real , we felt very comfortable the hostess always pending very good communication even flexible with the departure time and as allowed by the occupancy always the condominiums are very well located and a plus esq al ser palabra baja we had very quick access we loved it without . Douda we will return

Had some issue with hot water when I first arrived but the host was very responsive and people came very quickly to solve the issue. She even offered partial refund without me asking for it for the days without hot water. It’s better to have a car from this location but still not that far from the malecon. Again, quick and responsive host for any questions/ issues you might have.

Mariterre is an excellent host. She is very responsive and was very generous with her time and attention. She made many suggestions and even showed us around the boardwalk and nearby wetlands. We could not ask for a better greeting from her and her son. The place itself was very comfortable, fully equipped, and well maintained with excellent AC. Every little detail was considered from wall magnet's that hold the doors in place on windy days to full window blinds that are easy to use etc...

Rubén's place was very nice, very clean and in a very private place. Communication with the host was great, short and clear. Would definitely recommend this place!

This place is an absolute gem! Everything is exactly as shown and impeccable! We stayed as a family of 4, and our 7-year-old loved every second of our stay. We went crab hunting at night, saw the incredible planet alignment, and relaxed in all of the pools! Our host was very quick to respond when we had questions and even recommended places we could go to for items we needed. Stay here!
