Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Christchurch

The house was comfortable, very well equipped, and ideally positioned for Poole Quay and the Harbour Park. We and our dog appreciated the bottle of fizz and other treats left for us all. There are several shops and restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. The allocated parking space to the rear was often taken up by other vehicles but there was sufficient space at the front to park our car. We would highly recommend Mainsail for couples or families wanting to visit Poole. Thank you Angus and Anne for a lovely stay!

Great stay, within walking distance of the beach, really clean and everything we needed was available for the stay! Great communication and information on the day of check in. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return in the future :)

From the communication, to the quality of the accommodation & amenities to the welcoming touches with Prosecco & snacks, your thoughtfulness just made our holiday perfect!! The decor was bright, modern & beautiful; the house and furniture was spotless and the house had everything you would need for a weekend getaway. We were 9 people and a dog and there was ample room for everyone. We couldn’t be happier. The only issue is that since this was our first Airbnb adventure, we’ve now got our bar set too high 😊 Thanks once again for allowing us a fabulous few days in Bournemouth in your beautiful house.

Great instructions when booked on where to park and how to get in. We didn’t contact the hosts during the stay as the welcome pack was really informative and covered everything we needed. The place was lovely, perfect for what we wanted, and great location for the beach and new forest. Thank you for a lovely stay and the goodies you left for us!

we had a wonderful stay over the Easter break. great location and walkable to Mudeford quay and beach. The noisy lobster served wonderful food, and catered for gluten free and lactose intolerant. The new haven pub was really nice and the dresses crab was delicious. you could easily walk to highcliff castle. great place to take dogs and after a long days walking just jump in the hot tub. Neighbours were friendly. You could walk out the back gate on to a recreational area. Mudeford is a lovely place to go and great if you can stay at Jacks place.

We had a great stay - the house was just as described and pictured in the photos. Very well equipped kitchen and stocked with the basics (dish soap, sponge, shower gel, etc.). Beds, including downstairs sofa bed, were very comfortable. The place was in a great location, convenient for walking to Sainsburys/Aldi and to the centre of Poole and Poole Quay. Great to have the private parking space. Hosts were very responsive to any questions/issues. Would definitely stay again!

Stunning !! Tucked away and so private . Everything just worked so well for our family of 12 . The layout of the house and garden were perfect ! You literally are in the middle of the forest surrounded by wildlife and nature . It was hard to leave the house but our recommendation for a family day out would be Moors Valley Country Park . A great stay in Andy's lovely, spacious and very clean caravan - perfect for a family weekend get away! We were able to spend plenty of time at the beach - about 25 mins away - and visit Kingston Lacy and Bradbury Rings for a lovely dog walk, then come back both evenings to a cosy caravan - everyone happy! Just wish we'd had more time to be able to use the tennis courts etc on the campsite! Andy was really prompt and responsive with communication too, which was super helpful.

Very homely and very well stocked caravan. Nice and quiet when we stayed. Parking space at the side big enough for 2 cars. Samantha was very helpful and very responsive to messages. Activity passes included making this a very reasonably priced place to stay.

A lovely quiet location 5 min walk to a beautiful quiet harbour beach and 5 mins drive to Hamworthy Beach. The beach hut is an amazing addition with all the extras inside ! The communication was top notch! The caravan was homely welcoming comfortable had everything and more you would need the games and books kept our three boys amused! Clean tidy and accommodating! We made a last minute booking and Andy was extremely helpful with information and advice, and was very quick to respond to messages. He went over and above to make sure our stay was a good one. The accommodation was very comfortable and convenient and easy to find. Great location opposite a large grassy space with goal posts which was perfect for our kids. Would definitely recommend.

This was our second visit, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We were warmly greeted, the annex was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, providing a relaxed, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Jo and Andrew ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect offering easy access to Branksome Woods to walk our dog and leads to the beach in 10 mins. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable Airbnb experience.

A really comfortable relaxing place to stay with all the family.Such a perfect spot for visiting lots of key spots plus a beautiful walking area. Lot’s of great pubs and restaurants too. Seeing the wild deer and ponies was such a joy.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Nina’s house in Southbourne, and we can't recommend it enough! The house itself was fantastic—spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for our large group. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed using the facilities at the house, which added to our overall experience. Whether it was soaking in the hot tub or cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, everything was just right for our getaway. Nina, our host, was exceptional. She was responsive, polite, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Her attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. Overall, this was the perfect getaway, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Nina, for being such a wonderful host!

Located close to where we have family living which was ideal for us. Lovely and quiet and has a saved parking space for the vehicle Our dog was welcomed to the property. It’s close to shops and takeaway outlets, although the kitchen is perfectly satisfactory for cooking in. Lots of lovely touches in the property such as provision of tea, coffee, milk and sugar as well as shampoo, soap shower gel in the bathroom. Very friendly hosts who were available if required.

We enjoyed our break at the cottage, beautiful home in beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful but also close to amenities when needed. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely last minute night away - The bungalow was very spacious, clean and the beds were very comfy Perfect for my 2 year old daughter and our dog - the front and back was secure so we could relax. We enjoyed the mini jammie dodgers ;) thanks Paula. Highly recommend x

Both Garth and Marie was brilliant, I couldn’t fault them. Even was able to check in earlier and was able to leave later. Very clean. Hot tub was amazing and all ready for our arrival plus a bottle of fizz to start our getaway for the weekend. Our dogs enjoyed the surroundings. And plenty to do in the area x

Great place on a private lane! It was perfect for the two of us as a country side retreat.

We have just spent the Easter weekend at this wonderful cottage - 4 adults and 2 children under 6 years old, and I have to say that Joel & Gaby’s place near the new forest is absolutely fabulous. Very spacious and ideal if you are looking for a getaway with a hot tub and table tennis in the garden. The cottage is in a great location, about 10 min drive to Paultons Park with peppa pig world so an absolute must for kids. It’s also not far from the new forest itself and Lyndhurst town. It was really tidy & clean, with a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms stocked with fresh towels. We were left a lovely gift on arrival of fresh bread, milk, eggs and a bottle of Prosecco which was an absolute treat! I couldn’t recommend this cottage more - thank you Joel & Gaby we had a fabulous time and would stay again in future.

If you want a peaceful location that’s spotlessly clean then this is the place. Caroline was a fab host who was there if needed. Perfect location for both the Forest and the coast. We will definitely return.

A lovely stay at Springwood, it was a nice home that was spacious, clean, safe and in a good location. Property was behind the residential address, but not too close that it felt imposing. A mixture of staying in as my son is preparing for his GCSE’s, and trying a few walks recommended in the welcome pack. A great place to relax and enjoy the countryside. The dog friendly Three Legged Cross pub, which is in walking distance (15-20 minutes) is welcoming, we all had a lovely meal there one afternoon. Would definitely recommend staying here for the all round qualities it has to offer.
