Remarkable location and host. The host was responsive, helpful and went out of their way to assist us during our stay. The house has everything you could need on a very private location. Incredible value for money and would definitely look to stay in the future.

Shona’s wee house was absolutely perfect for a quiet new year’s break (or at any time I suspect!). An old crofter’s cottage with thick walls keeps you cosy when the winter storms roll in as you coorie in with modern amenities and heating. Fabulous bath and very well appointed kitchen for self-catering. The view from the front overlooks Scalpay and its lovely lighthouse. The Northern Lights may also light up your visit. Shona was thoroughly helpful, engaging and responsive and she makes you feel like a valued guest at all times. She’s thought of everything to make your stay a relaxing one.

We had a great time - the property is clean, spacious and fantastically well equipped. The Welcome Book was full of tips and recommendations and Dawn is helpful and quick to respond. The property is conveniently located in the centre of Tarbert with the near, but not intrusive, ferry terminal. A comfortable bed in a peaceful setting. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
