The place was exactly what I wanted for visiting Corofin. I would happily book it again if visiting the area.

What a wonderful place to stay. Big bonus was when a baby calf was born the first night there. The dogs made the stay so enjoyable. And Martin told us some amazing stories. We enjoyed him telling us about the match making service they do they do there in the town every September. Would stay there again.

Anne is a fantastic host! This was by no means a normal stay, but Anne went above and beyond to overcome some big challenges. We arrived after the biggest storm Ireland had seen in a very long time. Power was out over most of the country. Anne and her husband helped us settle in and provided plenty of wood for their wood burning stove. We all hoped the power would come on soon. However, unbeknownst to any of us, the wood stove required electricity in order to provide warmth to the house. After a cold night, Anne put us up in a local B&B, then into a really wonderful hotel. Anne could not have done more to make our stay a wonderful adventure. And the cottage is exceptional! We hope to get to stay there sometime when the power is on!

The Burren Farmhouse is a beautiful, spotlessly clean, spacious, cozy and private property. With its local history, this well equipped farmhouse is ideally located within easy reach of many popular sites that Co. Clare has to offer. Frank and Martina are amazing hosts and the homemade bread and jam went down a treat ! We would highly recommend this property and we would love to return.
