Monthly Rentals in Cranshaws

The Den was a prefect location for us, being within a half hour's drive of all the places we needed to be. It was an extremely warm, clean, comfortable and equipped accommodation with everything and anything you could possible need for a stay of either days, weeks or months! Amanda was a fantastic host who made the time to welcome us and check we had everything we needed. We very much appreciated the tea, coffee and milk supplies - also the shortbread, fudge & wine! Our 11 year-old pretty much commandeered the TV once he realised there was access to Disney+ It was a brief, but extremely comfortable stay. We will definitely return on future visits to the area. overall rhe experience staying here with my small family was exactly what we needed. Miranda was very clear on what was expected upon arrival and departure. the location was great and the little stream in the garden was lovely to wake up too. I would definitely consider staying here if you want somewhere peaceful and not too far way from other locations, like the beach, Edinburgh and beautiful walks. ❤️ thanks Miranda for making our stay worth while.

The cottage is lovely with beautiful surroundings. The living room in particular is stunning. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Our eldest (11) loved the loft bedroom. Instructions from Liz were excellent and using what3words we found the cottage with no issues. The area is gorgeous and we saw lots of wildlife on the way which was great. The cottage is about an hour away from the centre of Edinburgh, so it’s ideal if you’re wanting to visit Edinburgh but stay away from the noise of a city. Thank you so much for having us, we had a great time 😀

Lovely little Cottage in peaceful surroundings, a great place to base yourself if you like exploring the countryside. Also great position for walking and hiking into the hills.
