Holiday rentals with a sauna in Cumbria

We loved our stay and can’t thank Jennifer enough for everything. Her communication is outstanding, she’s so helpful, friendly and always goes the extra mile. She kindly had a high chair delivered to the property just to help us out. No question was too much and she replied instantly. The holiday village is exactly what we were looking for as it had so many facilities to entertain our baby. We loved the pool, duck pond, park, hot tub and children’s game room. The accommodation is fab- super comfy bed, and all the amenities that you need. Balcony had lovely views. She kindly provided thoughtful gestures including coffee, tea, jams, and shower/dental kits too. We can’t thank you enough for everything, and we can’t wait to come back in summer!

We stayed at Ian’s Airbnb, It was spotless and came with everything we would need for our stay, everything was great however during the night it can get very warm but there is a fan and doors that open up to outside to help cool down. Swimming and other activities were included which was great, and there are slots for adult only swims and such. Would definitely visit again.

First time using air B&B, exceeded expectation. Little touches made the difference.... Genuine host who explained how to use everything well and was available anytime for questions... Also gave a great recommendation for top local restaurants etc... Highly recommended!

Lovely studio apartment within holiday village. Apartment was very well equipped to be completely self sufficient but amenities available included restaurant, bar as well as swimming pool, spa and gym. Our visit was February half term and although busy the surroundings were peaceful and clean. The host Michael was very quick to respond to a couple of enquiries we made before check in. Would definitely use again for our next visit to the area!

This place is a hidden gem. The rooms and facilities were even better than expected. It was immaculate and had everything we needed for a gorgeous weekend away. The location means there gorgeous hikes, beaches views short distance away. I would highly recommend visiting here

Had a lovely stay at Jays nest, the place was very clean and tidy and had everything you could ever need. Situated in a nice peaceful neighbourhood not too far away from the town centres, Bowness and Windermere. Would recommend for a short stay/long weekend

Modern, spotlessly clean caravan. Loads of lovely touches, teddies, games, hair straighteners, iron, air fryer etc making it a home away from home. Nice big secure decking so we could let our dog out without worrying about him. Views are lovely around the caravan site and it’s a short drive to Morecambe. Had a nice relaxing weekend away.

What a perfect spot for exploring the Lake District! Walks from the site, easy driving to Grasmere, Ambleside and Windermere. Site was lovely and well kept. Apartment was comfortable and clean, had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay. Very good location and very clean. Amazing restaurants near by. We had wonderful experience and customer service was really good too. We will be be booking again soon.

Very nice accommodation for our weekend away. The flat was lovely with great views of the lake, and we enjoyed the special touches. Easy to walk down to bars and restaurants. Would recommend.

Great apartment in a great location. A 10 min drive to some amazing places. We visited Aira Force Waterfall, Blencathra and the farm shop nearby (Basecamp). Everything had been thought of and as a family of 4 we were comfortable and had enough room. Raluca made herself available if we needed anything at all. It was a bonus to have the facilities of the resort available; swimming, restaurant, gym, although we didn’t use them due to a short stay. Great apartment and we would love to visit again in the future.

Had a lovely New Years holiday with family (and dogs) and it did feel like a holiday. Hosts were very attentive (with hot tub, and asking about wi-fi) yet I think made sure to let us feel comfortable and give us our privacy. A 15 minute walk to shop, or 2 minute drive - we also visited Blackpool (30 minute drive). Clean beds, lovely living room and can't fault value for money, and would recommend. Thanks for having us!!

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

One of the best apartments I’ve been to. The detail is crazy & also extremely clean. Hot tub jacuzzi was perfect couldn’t ask for more. Very good value for money & location is perfect for tourists or anyone visiting Bradford. Definitely recommend .

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.

Lovely place to stay! We enjoyed our stay here. The house was huge and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table and darts board. The sauna is also an amazing addition. Would recommend. ☺️

We had a lovely stay. The caravan was lovely, clean and modern with a cosy feel. It was well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The decking/balcony facing on to the lake was lovely and the park was so nicely maintained and quiet. Would definitely return!

The ad, while already great does not do the house justice. The house was incredible and everyone of our guests loved it. there were plenty of cups & plates etc. The private sauna was the standout, and each bedroom and toilet throughout was a great size. I would highly recommend Onyx House to anyone

Fabulous lodge, beautifully decorated for Christmas with a lovely festive welcome pack waiting for us on arrival. The beds were comfy and a good size unlike other lodges we've stayed in. Peaceful site which is close to plenty of restaurants and other amenities. Good communication from the host. We had a perfect family Christmas staying here and enjoyed it so much, we've already booked another stay.

Great little cottage in a perfect location. Just a few minutes walk to the pubs, cafes, takeaways and stepping stones. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here along with our 12 year old daughter and our spaniel. Very clean, fantastic little touches, plenty to do and see. Would definitely book again. Thank you

Our stay at the lodge was simply amazing! The host was wonderfully responsive and flexible, making our experience effortless. The space was warm, very clean, and tastefully designed - with a beautiful and functional modern kitchen, cozy living area, and an easy-to-use fireplace that added the perfect touch. We especially loved the sauna and the stunning views of tall, beautiful trees, which offered both privacy and serenity. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely place, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. There are walks on your doorstep and no need to get in your car if you do not want to. The accommodation had everything we needed in the kitchen and the fireplace in the living room was an added bonus for the cold nights, as we went in February, plus there is underfloor heating which really made the place cosy. The gardens surrounding the accommodation are lovely and there is a fire pit at the top of the garden to watch the stars if you are lucky enough to get a clear night. The sauna and cold plunge were great after a long day of hiking, we were lucky as the other accommodation that shared the facilities used the sauna late in the evening and we used them late afternoon, so we didn't overlap, which was ideal. I would highly recommend this accommodation, it was lovely for our family break with the dogs. Thanks again for everything
