A birthday retreat to remember. I wanted something different from a cabin—somewhere to truly escape and embrace the moment. Dee’s place captured that nostalgic feeling of gathering around a fireplace with loved ones, the kind you usually only see in films. Thank you, Dee! I can’t wait to return.

Mike's house was our first accommodation when we migrated to this country and we stayed here for around 1.5 months. Truly blessed to have found this place at a time when the rental market is so brutal. Mike is one of the most caring and genuine hosts that we came across. Right from the time we made our booking enquiry to the time we checked out, Mike was quite responsive to our queries. He ensured that me and my wife had a great stay. The room in itself was good enough for a couple and we had unrestricted access to the living room/kitchen. It's a short ten-minute walk to the nearest station and there are quite a few shops around for your daily grocery needs. Safety hasn't been a concern either during the time we spent at this place. The host is also always reachable through phone in case of any concerns. All in all, would strongly recommend considering this place as an option if you are looking for a short or medium-term accommodation. Once again, thank you Mike!
