Pretty good! I like the area, lthe things available here are very local and affordable. The Cơm Tấm around the corner tastes really good, and the people are really nice. The area behind the big school in the "villa" district is also pretty great, with some excellent Phở places. The area around the big Lotte Market is also quite cool. I really enjoyed it and with a Grab bike for around 30k (~€1), you can get to Ben Thanh Market in just 5 minutes. The apartment is pretty good. It has everything you need flip-flops, shampoo, soap. There was even water in the fridge and some small soups and sweet treats in the kitchen. The pool is okay, and the air conditioning, WiFi and Netflix are great. Kim is always available and helpful whenever something comes up. One thing I have to mention and this seems to be the case everywhere in Vietnam, I don’t feel entirely comfortable with these keypad locks because I keep wondering who else might have the code.

Simmi apartment was clean, tidy, and looked exactly like the photos on their listing. Services like house keeping and laundry were provided by an exceptional lady. The area is located in D7 of HCM city so it’s a pretty safe place and was walkable to a lot of cafes and restaurants. You won’t get as much local street food here, but there are vendors on the road where you can find cheaper food. The prices are high for the area, but if you know where to look, you can also find cheap local cuisine. We also rented a motorbike from a place nearby. Check in and out was an easy process. I would say the only thing is that sometimes you can hear the people upstairs or people walking up, but other than that it’s pretty quiet and everyone is considerate of others. The place we rented was located inside a hair salon, so it took some time to find at first. We stayed for a whole month and we highly recommend this place.
