A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Would come again for the view alone but Lucy has made sure you’re wanting for nothing. Clean, comfortable, thoughtful touches everywhere. You feel a million miles away from everywhere, even though you’re five mins from Dorrigo town. Thanks Lucy, we hope to visit House on a Hill again soon.

We loved this accommodation. We felt comfortable from the moment we came through the pink door. The attention to detail and all the small things that made our stay so easy are well thought out. Everything from a variety of teabags in the cupboard to books to read, comfortable bedding and chairs and the shower is to die for. We loved our stay and will definately be back.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The space was both functional and comfortable, with everything we needed to feel at home. One of the highlights was that it’s pet-friendly, which we truly appreciated as we could bring our furry friend along. The host went above and beyond, providing thoughtful goodies and local recommendations that made our trip even more enjoyable. The town itself is a gem—full of character and charm, with plenty of local spots to explore. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, convenient stay in a cool, vibrant town.

Incredibly peaceful, comfortable and outrageously relaxing. Birdsong is somewhere you can immerse yourself in the stillness of nature, bathe blissfully in the Bellinger River, bbq a feast and simply enjoy the slow life. The cabin, the bed swing, the bath and the location were all incredible. I can highly recommend the cabin if you are seeking to escape the busyness of life and worry only about what to eat next, where to sit to enjoy the best vantage point of the surrounding mountains and what book to read whilst laying in the day bed. We will most definitely be back soon.
