Bungalow holiday rentals in Dorset

We thoroughly loved our stay and would like to make a return visit asap. We love swanage and the surrounding countryside but Blake’s place for comfortable and a perfect location

We have previously stayed at the bungalow and will likely stay again. It’s ideal for families with small children with the park opposite being a real added bonus. There is plenty of space and having 3 bathrooms is a rare luxury! The views are stunning with the beach, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hosts are warm and responsive and were extremely accommodating. The break is just what we needed!

Good value accommodation in a nice house in a quiet area of Swanage. Good facilities and a comfortable bed. Kathy also provided cereals and milk for breakfast. There was also a useful microwave in the room which I used for morning porridge . Would be happy to stay with Kathy again.

This house is all about the location, with fantastic views and only a few minutes walk down to the beach. There is a high street nearby with plenty of shops for whatever you might need. As per the other reviews, the house is in need of some care and attention. Was disappointed to find there was no toilet paper or soap when we arrived, not the end of the world, just an inconvenience. The house is spacious and was great for our needs, we had a great stay. Would recommend.

Lovely property in a quiet area. Short walk to the beach. Several craft shops to visit. Nice walk through to Bridport and the market there. We would recommend eating at the George. Nice pub and great food.

We’d just finished a 2 night stay at this park and wanted to be extend it because our little boy was having such a great time. Jamie’s place was absolutely perfect! It’s in a nice and quiet area of the park with the decking area overlooking the woods which was lovely to wake up to. Our son loved watching the squirrels feeding off the peanuts he’d left out there for them. Jamie provides these for guests and it’s a really nice touch and a great way to keep youngsters entertained. The caravan is spotlessly clean, cosy, modern and comfortable and also very well equipped. This made our stay even more enjoyable and made life easier for 2 exhausted parents! The two nights before our booking were in a similar layout caravan elsewhere on the park however, the double bed was nowhere near as comfortable as what’s in this one. If you like a good nights sleep then you’ll certainly get that here! The main club house is only a short walk away from the van. 10/10 from us!

Hamid was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable and the bathroom was great. The dogs were happy. there was an enclosed garden and a woodland walk just a minute down the road. We had a lovely stay.

Such a cosy and cute little bungalow. it was a really lovely stay with such beautiful surroundings too. Bread, milk, teas and coffees etc were also kindly provided which really helped us feel at home. Annabel was super helpful with recommendations for what to do. I’d defo recommend staying here if you’re looking for somewhere in the area.

A beautiful peaceful home. Just what we needed to relax with family.

We had a wonderful weekend at The Beehouse. The lodge and the surroundings were superb! Judi put up external Christmas decorations to help us find the lodge at night and a Christmas tree & decs for the kids. We were welcomed with a yummy lemon drizzle cake & some milk in the fridge. Heating was put on so when we arrived we weren’t cold. It’s little touches that make all the difference. Comfortable beds and the sofa in the lounge had a beautiful view! Kitchen and bathroom had all amenities & more. Lots of games & books to keep us occupied. We had a brilliant time & will be coming back in the summer when the weather is nicer. Thank you again!

Idyllic countryside setting accessed via a beautiful courtyard with dovecot and doves. Immaculate, spacious accommodation with helpful, attentive hosts in a peaceful spot perfect for a restful sleep. What more could anyone want.
