Absolutely beautiful spot on the creek, tranquil surroundings, private and peaceful. Beautiful little gift of some fresh farm produce for breakfast. Lovely stay.

The cottage was in a peaceful and convienient location. It had everything as listed and thoughtful touches. Appreciated the central air-conditioning, WiFi and washing machine during our stay.

Magnificent views, beautiful bird life, spacious verandahs (great for star gazing!) swimmable dam down the hill. Efficient, quiet A/C when needed. Nice bathroom, (BYO shampoo, conditioner, & body wash). Comfortable beds. Overall, a comfy country retreat.

From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home at Short Street Cottage. Everything we needed for a comfortable family getaway, plus lots of added bonuses like making our own bread in the bread maker, and full access to the herb garden. The wood heater was put to good use as we had a day or two of unseasonably cold weather in the middle of January! So easy to use and warmed up the whole cottage quickly. We especially enjoyed having all the friendly wildlife and the cattle & sheep visits. The stars at night were unlike anything we've ever seen! Amazing. The Webster family are so warm and welcoming, we never wanted to leave. The Cottage has been so thoughtfully stocked, and beautifully decorated to perfection. Everything we needed was right where you'd expect to find it. This cottage is way more beautiful than photos depict! Lovely home away from home. Communication was a breeze & check-in process was too easy. Highly recommend a stay here. We will definitely be back soon.
