Penny has been an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish being approachable, friendly and helpful. Exactly what you’d want from a host. The property has every tiny thing you can think of. The little things you’d normally have to get yourself are all provided. It had been decorated for Easter and my birthday with an Easter egg and birthday cake waiting for us when we arrived. It’s all the little touches and extra care taken that make this a special place to stay. The accommodation was exactly as described and has everything you would need for a stay. Well done Penny and thank you.

Amazing Vistas. Spotless bathroom. Nicely designed place. Very private. Warm and cosy :) Favourite thing was watching the Hythe - Dymchurch steam train go past, about a mile away across the horizon. Can also see Port Lympne safari park to the north. Really appreciated the shampoos, nice coffee, recommended walks and maps, and things for our baby. Some of the businesses in the house guide seem to be no more (Honeychild farm shop, one of the Indian restaurants and Dockers bakery) so come prepared, although you can get food delivered, and there are shops in driving distance.

We had a great time at bens place. We loved the decking for the kids to run around, it’s very spacious. The extra toilet was so handy and so was the big fridge/freezer. There are a lot of thoughtful touches like the board games. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you can think you might need. We also enjoyed the facilities on site like the pool and the club house. We had a great time and would come again ☺️

Highfield's Lodge was a beautiful, cosy place to stay with gorgeous views of the Romney Marsh from the deck. We loved the luxury of the hot tub and found Alan the cat to be a very attentive host! Sam and Alison were very friendly and we felt very relaxed staying in their Lodge. Definitely will return!
