My stay at Alexandra’s place was absolutely wonderful! The property is charming, cosy, and perfectly situated in the heart of Ashford Town. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless - the check-in process was easy, and the house was spotless and beautifully decorated. The cottage is full of character, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The quiet surroundings were perfect for relaxing, yet it was still close to local amenities. Alexandra was an attentive and gracious host, always quick to respond and ensure everything was perfect during my stay. I would highly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to stay. Thank you for an incredible experience - I hope to return soon!

We had a great stay in Steve’s place over new year. The location was very quiet and peaceful and exactly what we wanted. It was really near to lovely beaches and great cafes. We would love to come back another time

We have just returned from a beautiful 3 night stay, the accommodation was perfect for me, my mum and my 2 year old son, the animals were fantastic and so close to the coast and port lympne. Corrine was really friendly and very helpful. Hopefully we will return one day.

I wanted a peaceful, beautiful environment to do some focused work over a few days, somewhere that was easy to access via car from London. The Thatched Barn was so much more than I could have hoped for -- incredible, stunning renovation/restoration of an old threshing barn. Because of the decoration, furnishings, underfloor heating and thick thatched roof, the building was cozy and warm despite its soaring beamed ceilings. The building is finished to an incredibly high standard, with a well-equipped kitchen, although I visited the excellent Tiger Inn (5 minutes' drive) most days to eat wonderful food in a lovely pub. This is a dark skies area so on those nights that the sky was clear, the stars were visible. During the day you can look out across the fields to the sea. I wanted to move in and stay forever. Highly recommended!
