Mansion holiday rentals in East Dubuque

Our friend group couples vacation gave us the perfect opportunity to stay at Dawn’s beautiful home. The property was immaculate and the house was very meticulously designed. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. Our husbands enjoyed ice fishing and the game cottage while us ladies enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing inside by the fire. We found ourselves gathered around the large island playing games every night. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, not to mention Dawn’s extremely quick and helpful responses every time. Kudos, Dawn! 👏🏻

This home was a perfect weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday with close friends. Jess was super responsive with any questions we had. The jacuzzi was great, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Thank you for making sure we had a great time - would love to come back again soon!

Amazing place to stay, we had three families and had so much to do we could have easily stayed at the air bnb the whole time!! Hosts were very responsive and we can’t wait to come back.

Very nice place, a short drive into Galena and around 20 minutes to Chestnut Mountain. We stayed there with our daughter and two of her friends, and they thought it was great. It snowed before we arrived, and we appreciated that Stefania removed the snow and made it easy to get in and out.

We had a wonderful weekend stay! Fit our group of 10 and matched the description of what it was. Such a nice place to stay right on Main Street so we could walk everywhere! Would stay again :)

Great people. We had a swift check-in and were welcomed by a beautiful space that provides absolute privacy. Could have been better if it was warm so you can enjoy the enormous space around the property. Can be suitable for retreats, intimate wedding venue.

Steve’s house and location was a great peaceful getaway for our family. House was as described and pictured. Steve was very responsive and friendly. We explored the trails nearby and returned to relax by the fireplace and in the massage chair (this was my favorite). We are a small family, but the house has plenty of space for a larger family or a couple of families. Steve allowed us to obtain our goal: to RELAX!

We LOVE Jon's beautiful mansion. This is the second time we have stayed and we hope to be back again next year. With three generations of family all together, this really is the perfect place. Easy walk to the wonderful public library (which has fantastic children's area), Textile brewing (great beer and pretzels), Basillica, and the Brew and Brew; and a quick drive to Sundown mountain skiing. The home itself has everything you could possibly need- so much comfortable space to hang out, great kitchen, and large dining room table. We loved the new addition of the bunk beds. One of our favorite Airbnbs.

We booked a last minute stay the same day as checking in. Communication was great the whole time. The place was exactly what we were looking for. The kids enjoyed the basement level. The hot tub was a great touch. We used the Owners Club amenities which was great on a rainy day. We are already talking about going back! 5 stars!

We travel a lot and this is one of the best Air BnB's we've ever stayed at. This house is equipped with literally everything. It is very clean and well kept. There are thoughtful touches like soft sheets, nice bath products, blackout shades, games, and local recommendations. On top of that (and much more) there are also surprise luxury touches like heated toilet seats and floors. This house is so comfortable and feel like home. It is very close to Main Street, where we enjoyed going to a few different bars and restaurants. This would be the perfect place for a large family, several couples, or a group of friends.

Absolutely amazing stay for a girls trip to Galena. It was in a remote location which was so beautiful. The house was everything we wanted and more; not to mention extremely affordable for all the great amenities. Emily was so kind to be flexible with check in and check out given that no other stays were around our boarding. Very close to goat yoga and Shanendoah riding center which were our two big activities. Would definitely book again!

We have stayed at this house so often, it feels like our home away from home. Everything matches the photos and description. Communication is always great, and this visit was no exception. We had a super minor question and Brian and Johnny got back to us immediately! They offered to stop by and were there in about 15 minutes! We have been staying at Airbnbs for years and the communication from Brian and Johnny is always a stand out. We cannot wait to return!

Great home base for our family to visit Dubuque! Nice open space on the main floor with plenty of bedrooms and the basement is where my kids spent most of the time. It was awesome having the arcade games, pool table, and air hockey . The hot tub and backyard were also great as the house is adjacent to a park for the kids to burn off some energy. Spencer was always responsive to any questions we had. Thanks!!

From the second we walked into R lodge we felt right at home. It has all the amenities, the hot tub is amazing. Everything in town is adorable and easy to walk to. We had a wonderful time and will be back soon.

This was our second time staying here and it was wonderful. Always a pleasure, the hosts are great and very responsive. The house is perfect for a getaway in Galena with tons to do, and just minutes from downtown.

This was a gem , huge space with lots to do , everything your family can possibly need to bring groceries and have an equipped kitchen to cook a cabin meal. GAME ROOM YESSSS everyone loved all the games . Laundry room with newer machines ,great space . Master bedroom huge with whirlpool tub works great . Outdoor hot tub on a cold day was a must our stay was temp 65-71 temp . Flat grill perfect with a huge table on balcony overseeing the river . Fire pit was nice for spooky stories . Lastly huge dining table with many choices of coffee and teas . Big open concept and great utility room with cleaning supplies. Not to mention the board wall with passes to the beach And all other amenities with information with places to go . I have to say we tried a in town pizza shop called “ corner tap” in Stockton 5 stars . Had the Chicago style and pan both great ! And I’m from Chicago so we know pizza !

Our stay was quick so we didn't get to enjoy all that the property had to offer, but I'd love to stay again, longer, to take advantage of all of the amenities.

This home was a great place to stay for my bachelorette party in Galena. It was a short drive to the shops in town. It is in a private neighborhood with a beautiful view. We had everything we needed from towels to kitchenware. Kyle was responsive and great to work with. 100% recommend!

We had a large group of friends get together at Mara's place and there was plenty of room for us all. We were very impressed by all the extra amenities, like towels and robes that were available and how well stocked it was. Mara was also the most response, nicest and easy to work with host I have ever dealt with, we would definitely stay again.

My family of nine had an amazing stay at Cynthia‘s place. We thoroughly enjoyed the owners club and all of the activities that it included, including Pickleball, the pool, the gym and the basketball courts. There was truly something for everybody. My six-year-old nephew loved playing in the backyard, my two cousins enjoyed, making s’mores in the fire pit, my husband loved working out at the gym in the morning, and my parents enjoyed stargazing in the hot tub. Fantastic location, and value for a wonderful family weekend. We went into town two days in a row and loved the shops and restaurants. My family enjoyed the wine bars and one of the breakfast spots on Main Street. We did have quite a bit of lady bug visitors in the home, but given the time of year and location in nature, it didn’t bother us. Would happily return, great memories made!

One of the best airbnb’s i’ve ever stayed at! We had several couples here for a ski weekend trip and the house was clean, had games, plenty of room and had full bathrooms for each room. The surroundings and amenities were also one of the best features of this house! Would definitely stay here again!!!!
