The location of the flat is excellent, right in the heart of the Old Town. Edinburgh Castle is a short walk away and there are plenty of restaurants and shops around. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable, everything was clean and all the necessary appliances were available, including a washer/dryer. Mr. Shahid is an excellent host, he had all the information available in a binder inside the flat and he was quick to help us with anything we needed. It was our first time booking an Airbnb and we were beyond satisfied! We recommend it without a doubt!

My husband and I had a great stay at Tania’s. Tania met us on arrival and walked us through the information for the apartment. It’s a nice sized basement apartment, going down steps off the main road to a private entrance, with a full kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Tania provided all the basic essentials and even left us tea, milk, and some snacks to get us started which was much appreciated. The location is an 11 min walk from the Haymarket train stop, and all the buses and trams stop just around the corner so it’s an easy location to get to. For a city apartment it’s surprisingly nice and quiet, except for occasional noise from the street or neighbors, but nothing that was an issue. There is plenty to do within walking distance and many food options near by. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

The flat is located at the edge of the city, right beneath the hill where Arthur’s Seat sits, offering a stunning and peaceful view—especially from the living room and one of the bedrooms. The apartment itself is spacious, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. It’s also conveniently situated, with plenty of amenities nearby and just a 15-minute journey from the central station. Jonathan, the host, was incredibly easy to communicate with—responsive, proactive, and flexible, particularly when it came to accommodating our sleeping arrangements. Overall, it was a lovely stay in a scenic and quiet part of Edinburgh, and we’d happily return!

This place was wonderful to stay at. The size of the space itself reminds me of a large hotel suite, which was plenty of space for the four of us over our long weekend. You are in a primarily residential area of the city. There's benefits and downsides to this: you're in a peaceful and quiet area, however it's going to take you 15 min via car, or 30-45 min by public transit, to get to any of the tourist spots such as the Royal Mile or Prince's Street. We personally didn't mind this because it gave us an opportunity to see more of the city. I think it's important to keep in mind that this property is inside of an old building. Be prepared for creaky floors and doors that will open on their own if you stand in just the right spot. There are some large stains on the floor, and there were a few random things (old necklace chains and item tags) in places on the floor around the property when we arrived but we weren't too bothered. The kitchen was great to use. We enjoyed our stay.

I felt like a celebrity in this beautiful and quiet flat, right off the main action of Edinburghs center. The bed was comfy and had sparkling white sheets. The bathtub was just perfect for a soak after all the walking we did. The kitchen set up was perfectly stocked with tea, coffee and breakfast essentials, plus or host gave us great info on local shops for any other needs. We got the inside scoop on some of the best local restaurants and bars. Oh! And a jar of homemade Scottish Shortbread greeted us on our arrival! Absolutely worth every penny, and every step it takes to get to the flat. I didn't want to leave this chic little jewel in Edinburgh.

Axel was a fantastic host, great communication and the house was just what we needed. Very clean and exactly as described. Close to the tram and bus links just a few stops to the city centre and only 15 mins on the bus to Portobello Beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Axel as a host and his house to anyone.

We stayed in Elizabeth’s place for our first couple of nights in Scotland. It was perfect and exactly what we needed! She was extremely accommodating to an early check in and met us right when we got there with instructions. The area is perfect and just a short walk to old town, new town and Stockbridge. Close to deans village! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean!

Great location and spacious

10/10 location. Really couldn’t have asked for a better location. Stockbridge is awesome and it’s a close walk (~15min) from all the tourist attractions, but you’re more removed from that hustle and bustle and feel like you’re in more of a local spot. Tons of bakeries and coffee shops that were great. The flat was much bigger than I expected. Felt more like a US sized apartment than a UK one. The place could use a tiny bit more love, but who cares with the location that good. Loved the fact it was on the top floor. The floor was creaky so I’m happy there was no one above to worry about. Overall, it was nice and clean. Erin was nice, place was great, definitely recommend for the price range.

The apartment was as advertised. The pictures were accurate great location. Only concern we had was construction started as we got there. It was unfortunate but beyond Samantha’s control

there are no words for how beautiful! the location is absolutely perfect. the building itself was beautiful, it was so hard to say goodbye! the host was wonderful and i’d recommend anyone who’s visiting to stay there!

It was great staying at Annie’s flat. The neighborhood was very safe and easily walkable to old town Edinburgh. Anytime we had a question Annie got back to us quickly.

Mark was a great host! super responsive and his place was amazing. Lots of tourists attractions around but also not too difficult to find low key restaurants and bars.

Emanuele’s stay is even better than the pictures - it has an absolutely amazing vibe to it with tasteful decor and beautiful portraits. We felt at home right from the moment we stepped in and every nook and cranny of the place made us feel cozy and at ease. The location is very convenient, with ample bus stops and connectivity to wherever you want to go in Edinburgh. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here for two months. It is a fantastic neighborhood and a very comfortable flat. Hanna was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. The flat itself is clean, bright, with enough space for two people. Though the shower is small, it is definitely big enough for an average sized person to comfortably use. I stayed here with a friend and so utilized the sofa bed the entire time. Both beds were good! I would note to anyone staying that there are some building noises in the main room (not from other tenants, but pipes, heating, etc.) and so wouldn't recommend the sofa bed to a super light sleeper - the bedroom is very quiet though. The location is ideal, very safe with easy access to all Leith Walk has to offer, and walkable to New and Old Town or out to Leith. The tram stop is also very close by. We loved our stay here and were sad to say goodbye to the flat. Hanna is a wonderful host! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pierson's place! It was such a beautiful apartment and was thoughtfully kitted out with beautiful amenities (we loved the hand soap!), the most comfy beds and spotlessly clean throughout. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of gorgeous Stockbridge and for us it was great to be so close to a playground for the kids and nice cafes for us! We'd highly recommend staying here!

From the start we had great communication from Ollie the host, the apartment was easy to find & just a few minutes walk from Haymarket Train Station. We had access to the pool, gym & sauna too. The apartment was very spacious & the beds very comfy to sleep in. On the whole I would recommend staying & next time I am in Edinburgh I will be booking here again!

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Alan is a friendly host, and was very helpful when we needed anything. The place was super clean, the room was a perfect size for 2 people. The area is good, with groceries stores around and a couple of buses that take you central in 25-30mins. Overall, really enjoyed my stay!

Great place for an amazing price. Ollie was extremely responsive an checked in with us making sure everything was okay.
