Monthly Rentals in Elwha

The house and location are absolutely gorgeous. It is close enough to Port Angeles that you can easily go and have some fun, quickly return to the house, and enjoy the surrounding forest's peace. My friends and I loved the fact that, at multiple points, we saw deer. If you are in a car with only front-wheel drive and there has been snow, you will need snow chains. You will only need them to go up the driveway to leave, but I recommend packing them. They were a lifesaver for us. Also, while the views are beautiful and pretty private, we did feel a bit awkward about the fact that there were no curtains on the windows. It's not the end of the world, but if you want to sleep in or you want to feel like you are not baring it all for the deer, you might want to get dressed in the downstairs bathroom. However, everything was excellent, and I would definitely not mind returning...well, maybe when there's less snow!

Shellay and Michael's place was beautifully furnished and so super cozy! This was perfect for our honeymoon and would be so for small families too.
