Cabin holiday rentals in Ely

This cabin was amazing. It was cozy and well stocked. We went during the coldest months and we found plenty to do. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting by the fire. Definitely would recommend and return. Chad was a great host and checked in on our group!

We had a wonderful time swimming, fishing off the dock (caught a nice sized large mouth bass & panfish) and boating. We enjoyed the paddle board, kayak and screened in porch. We used the fire pit one night before the mosquitoes came out. We didn’t use the hot tub. We rented a pontoon from Brett at Island View Resort. He also sold bait, gas and a map of the lake with tips for fishing the lake. We caught crappies, bass, panfish and northern. The bunkhouse was prefect for our two boys. Our daughter enjoyed the loft room. It was nice that there were 2 fans. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked having a large electric skillet. Didn’t use the washing machine except for washing the towels before we checked out. The beds were comfortable. We also liked the large dining room table -used it to play games in the evening. We’d definitely recommend getting peanut butter twists from Pattens restaurant in Orr. It was a very relaxing vacation. We’d definitely rent it again.

This cabin was wonderful. It fulfilled our needs while we were visiting family in the area. Location on the lake provided some beautiful sunsets. The host was great for communication. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Laura's cabin is beautiful! The location is private with beautiful woods all around. The cabin is decorated tastefully and is very comfortable. We were delighted to find the kitchen had lots of pots and pans and utensils and all the staple are there too - which was very helpful for cooking at the cabin. The hot tub is easy to care for and was a true highlight! The cabin gets great light. As three friends traveling, the only issue was there are no doors to bedrooms, so being comfortable sharing one big open space is a consideration for your group! We had a wonderful time!

Great 2 night stay. Very comfortable and clean accommodations, with nice esthetics. Especially enjoyed the deck outside in the morning and evening. Quiet, peaceful location.

Our family had a great experience at Little Buck Camp! The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of comfortable seating for our whole group in the kitchen and living room areas and the game room was a lot of fun! Maria was very responsive and promptly answered any questions we had. The property was very peaceful and private as well.

Absolutely loved this place! The location felt very private and secluded being surrounded by all the trees. Right when you walk in you notice immediately how spotlessly clean everything is. Also, it is very well stocked with anything you need. Close to many beautiful hiking locations which was why we visited. The sauna was so relaxing. And the stars at night were unbelievable. Would have loved to stay a couple more days, but really appreciated having a couple more hours with a 12pm checkout. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us. Absolutely would recommend and would stay again!

Found this place on a last minute trip to the area. It was right on a lake, quiet and beautiful location.

My partner and I absolutely loved this stay! The cabin was so cozy and cute. Everything was so thoughtfully arranged. The table and chairs are sturdy and nicely sized but fold up to be put away to make room. We were joking that the kitchen is way better than the one we have at home with a good amount of counter space and a great gas range. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The sauna was just awesome, we loved it. The "outhouse" is warm with a heated toilet seat and good lighting. It was great to be able to take our dog along on the trip and there was a great trail around their property that started right at the cabin door. We would absolutely book this place again!!

We stayed at John's place in the winter, and it exceeded our expectations. The place was clean and well-stocked. Running the log stove and sauna were a must, as they were the only way to stay warm. We saw a wolf and many other wildlife during our stay. Snowshoeing on the nearby lakes were a highlight. The trails marked by Dave were easy to follow, along with the maps they provided. If you are looking for a peaceful trip surrounded by nature, you found the right place! Thanks to John and Dave for being so helpful and responsive.

We were very pleased with our stay. The cabin is adorable with plenty of space around it. After reading a few reviews about the train tracks being so close I was a little concerned about safety and noise. Once we arrived I noticed that safety was not an issue as a river (stream) is located between the property and the tracks. The train runs through frequently but it didn't have a negative impact on our stay and we live in the country with no trains. Randy was very pleasant to work with and I can't say enough good things about our stay. it was a perfect fit!

Nothing but amazing. Plenty of sheets, towels, etc. Pots and pans along with solverware, and cooking utensils were in great shape. Bonus was the wood stove. Plan to come back again!

Great cabin — comfortable, clean, quiet. Well-appointed kitchen. Nicely decorated interior. Spacious rec room with a very large screen TV. Easy access to boat dock. Mike, the owner, was staying in another cabin close by, he was extremely helpful and friendly. The cabin itself is in the community of Crane Lake, on the water. It sits in a row of similar cabins. A small store (fisherman-oriented) and couple of bar/restaurants are nearby, easily walkable. We used this as a base for day trips (hiking and canoeing) into Voyageurs NP and the Boundary Waters. You can also walk to and hike the Vermillion Gorge Trail from the cabin — recommended.

Our family REALLY enjoyed ourselves in Kami & Matthew's cabin! We had set our sights on a location that was a bit more remote, cozy but spacious enough for our family of 4, while tucked away in a winter wonderland and beautiful surroundings. We got all of these things in one (except for the snow part which was unfortunate, but hard to control)! The layout of the cabin was perfect and the location was really great, and we all loved just enjoying the place in a relaxed tempo. We would highly recommend this wonderful spot and would definitely not mind coming back when there's more snow :-)

A beautiful cabin for a winter weekend retreat with amazing surroundings and lots of privacy. Appreciated the heads-up regarding need for 4 wheel drive in the winter-- was easy going with our Jeep. The cabin itself was awesome and we stayed nice and cozy with the stove fireplace. Beautiful hiking just a mile away! We will definitely stay again!

The stay here at Blueberry Cottage was truly a beautiful place to have a little R&R. Take the a little trail straight to the sandy beach to see Siskiwit Bay. With this property being pet friendly right by the water was truly a win win scenario! Not to mention those gorgeous windows taking everything in. Lacey was a terrific host! Kept me informed when there was weather coming through and had back up plans in case we needed to pivot and choose a different property to stay. The consideration and open communication made me feel at ease and while I didn’t need any assistance knowing she was a message away was incredibly reassuring. 5 out of 5!

This was a great little cabin for our kid free weekend away! They had everything in the kitchen you could need to cook meals. It’s tucked into the woods so it’s private and it’s just what we were looking for. It was clean and we had a great experience! Derek was quick and responsive when an issue came up.

What a wonderful home base for our winter trip to the beautiful North Shore! Super clean, well-stocked kitchen, lots of cozy touches, and a great location. Natural beauty all around. We loved every minute and would whole-heartedly recommend!

It was a very well laid out two bedroom cabin. They provided ample towels, blankets, pillows and everything felt clean and comfortable. Their swing next to the lake was our favorite to watch the sun go down and have coffee in the morning. There is a nice fire ring with plenty of kindling and firewood provided! (So nice). The sauna worked well and was easy to use and warms up really fast. It was a wonderful stay, peaceful, quiet, and it felt private. We will be back for sure!!
