Stunning stay in a converted stable. Serenaded by the monastery bells and with everything a short walk away this was a magical visit. Our host Cristina was so welcoming and helpful, and provided us with great local tips. We really felt at home and were able to switch off and relax in the lovely courtyard taking in the views of Guadalupe. As all the local shops are a short walk away, we indulged at a fabulous local ceramics store and food shop stocking up on local produce.

The place felt really homely - light and warm (it was a cold March). The location was perfect for trips to cities and walks on the plain. Juanjo offered some great suggestions for visits and restaurants/cafes. Would certainly return to Juanjo's place if we visit Caceres location again. Highly recommend. Highly.

The cabin is great, the surroundings invite you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city, and get it. We really liked its location and the interior design. Initiatives of this type are great for people like us who love rural tourism but maintaining certain luxuries in the home to improve the experience. Everything was modern and taking a swim in the bathtub looking at the valley was great. The first impression we had when we entered was very good, we thought everything was very well kept and clean, we had some unfortunate unforeseen events with the bathroom towels as they smelled damp, but after talking to Juan and Diana it seems something punctual that had never happened to them. Mention also that the house, despite being totally open and having no entrance fence to the enclosure is pretty private, someone may pass by there and can see you inside, but I didn't think it was a very worrying thing. Good location to visit the Comarca de la Vera.
