I had a great time staying at this place! Everything was as described, or even better. The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The location is ideal for those looking for a peaceful place to rest. Lionel and his parents welcomed us warmly, with great kindness and care. The amenities are at their best, everything is thought out to make you feel at home. I will recommend 100% and will come back without hesitation! 👌

Absolutely stunningly beautiful and idyllic beyond your imagination!! The chateau is exquisite and grand yet homely and relaxing in equal measures. It has everything you would want to cater for your family holiday and more with a brilliant kitchen, laundry provisions and a gorgeous jacuzzi bath! The outdoor space is equally as impressive with a BBQ, large dining area, lounge area and then sun loungers a-plenty. There is an infinity pool overlooking the dordogne river where you can watch in awe of all the local wildlife. Take out the kayaks and paddle boards or have fun on one of the many bicycles in the shed. Our children were forever outdoors swimming, cycling or running around the grounds laughing and loving life or playing pool in the evenings! This was our second stay after coming last year and could not wait to come back!! We hope to return again soon. House keeper Colette is always on hand for anything you may need but is not intrusive at all. Also do eat at le petit flaujagues!

We spent two amazing weeks at the Olive Tree with our spaniel. The gite was very welcoming with its enclosed decking for those star gazing evenings and private secluded garden ( completely secure for dogs) for chilling by the pool. Veronique has thought of everything you need for your stay and with lots of great recommendations for food and activities. The only restaurant in town Le P’tit Flaujaguais is a short walk from the gite and is a definite must to visit (but do book first). There is plenty to do with bike hire, canoeing and the many walking trails around the area. We found it very hard to leave this beautiful place.

Very beautiful residence renovated with quality materials. Quiet and bucolic environment, close to the river. Jean Pierre and his wife are adorable and very caring hosts. We had a great time with the family , 5 adults, 2 children and a baby and everything is done to welcome all this beautiful world. Thanks for your hospitality!
