This was a return visit to this lovely house. The house is bright, clean, well equipped, and not cluttered at all. The kitchen is bright and has everything you'd need. Old Town is a lovely area of Eastbourne. We are a family of four, the bedroom set up is perfect for us. There are nice playgrounds in Gildredge Park and the nearby recreation ground (i forget the name). Recommended :)

We had a Great stay. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, tidy, as detailed and was in an ideal location. Liz & Andrew were great hosts, returned communications promptly and always very helpful. We will book this accommodation again on the next visit to Rye, if available. Highly recommended

large warm house very close to the town and the beach. Very quiet road and lovely to have use of the bikes for the many cycle rides through the forest. A lovely house to relax in.

This is a nice little place within walking distance of sea front, restaurants, Co-op just round the corner, so very convenient. Parking space is a real bonus. We have a Renault Capture and that was no problem to park. A much larger car might not be so easy. We really liked how quiet it was at night. Netflix was another bonus. All in all happy :-)

Listing was as expected . Typical architecture, warm atmosphere, close to the beach, comfortable bedding. We felt great for a 2-night stay . We were 11 adults: beyond that would have been complicated , especially for meals (or for the use of bathrooms / toilets ). Communication with Christelle was very fluid even though we did not meet her directly. In summary , we are quite satisfied and would gladly make the same choice.

This is a really charming property with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. The garden is larger than it looks on the photos and is really beautiful and peaceful - and yet you are right in the heart of Rye with all it has to offer. Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems because of the stairs - but for our group everything was absolutely perfect!

Our stay at Andrea and Maitland's place was fantastic! The accommodation was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Communication was smooth and quick, and they were very accommodating throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting and would love to stay again in the future. A perfect Airbnb experience!

Highly recommended, David is a fantastic host who responds very quickly and is very flexible. David had more cottages to rent! 🤩 Very friendly. The cottage was very clean and matches with the pictures! At 5 minutes is the dyke with beautiful sea views 😍

We had a nice stay at Delphine and Nicolas's. Good hospitality and communication with our hosts. The accommodation is accessible and you can easily walk to the activities.

We dealt with Naomi rather than Jason - she was great and very attentive. The place was excellent and and as described, very clean. Would come again!

Roz was kind and helpful. She told us of events in the area and provided us with helpful information. The kitchen was stocked with treats and snacks on arrival. We had eight people stay and the house accommodated us all nicely.

This house had everything to ensure a comfortable stay with an extremely well equipped kitchen, all the essentials provided and a very generous welcome pack. Our teenage grandson loved the TV room and we loved the location , just minutes from the old town shops. The garage was a bonus which thankfully (just!) accommodated our Golf car. Communication with Gilly and Rachel was excellent, check in / out was easy and flexible. If only all Airbnbs could be like this -highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment in Équihen-Plage. The apartment is tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and well equipped – we didn't miss anything. The location is also great: the beautiful beach is only a few minutes walk away and pleasantly quiet as the place is not touristy. We especially loved the daily fresh pain au chocolat from the baker next door – a perfect start to the day! A warm thank you to the friendly landlady! We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming property in Southend-on-Sea. The place was absolutely spotless, beautifully maintained, and had such a cute, welcoming vibe. It’s conveniently located close to local shops, cafes, and other amenities, which made everything super easy and enjoyable. The highlight, though, was the host—so friendly and accommodating! He came by a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. He greeted us warmly and gave us a great tour of the property, making us feel right at home from the start. I highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone visiting the area!

From start to finish Taryn was an excellent communicator and we felt we could ask anything and it would never be too much trouble. The house itself exceeded our expectations, it was very spacious, clean and the extension on the kitchen gives the house a premium feel. The house was easy to find, perfect parking for two cars and in an excellent location. Less than a minutes walk you find yourself by the marina on the way to restaurants and more stunning views of the Quay. There is also a retail park around 5 minutes walk from the house which is very convenient. Overall we had a great experience which exceeded expectations and couldn’t have picked a better property or location to stay in.

Hannah is simply a delightful and insightful host. Very kind and graciously accommodating to our queries and needs. Not only is the environment warm and lovingly filled, it’s spacious and giving with memories, laughter and gleeful spells. Located in a very safe and welcoming neighborhood, that has an enchanting morning light; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the kids were ridiculously giddy with excitement to explore the toys and books available. This has to be the best Airbnb property we have stayed in. The house is just perfect, great location, easy to walk into Whitstable and to the harbour and beach. Off street parking a real bonus. Melanie is a real superhost, responds immediately, provides really helpful information and has a very friendly manner. She has furnished her house beautifully with many retro peices. Without a doubt we shall stay there again and recommend it to other people who are looking for a break in Whitstable. Thank you Melanie, our stay was a much needed tonic.

We had a wonderful stay in Karim‘s house. He was very helpful with any request that we had. Our stay was smooth and delightful and we enjoyed it very much. The house was big, in central Broadstairs and about 7 min from the beach as described on Airbnb. The only thing we found a little difficult was the explanation for Germans to start the heating but Karim helped immediately. For a house that size (it sleeps 10), we would have appreciated to have two or three sets of keys. Of course, there is the key holder but one just may forget to put the key in there…. However, we would come back anytime!

Wonderful place, full of character. Loved the fact we were on the seafront and we were incredibly lucky with the weather . Great places to eat nearby. Mary-Jo was very good in communicating and very kind in letting us stay on until the early afternoon as there was no one in directly following us which meant we had a very relaxing morning on the day we left. Great place for a few days break . Next time we’ll go by train as we walked everywhere. Highly recommended
