Monthly Rentals in Fort Augustus

What a wonderful accommodation the Highland Club was to stay at. The surroundings are breathtaking, almost mystical, and upon entering the estate, you feel as though you’ve stepped onto the set of a Harry Potter film. Additionally, Fort Augustus is an excellent base: from there, you can easily reach Fort William, the coast, and even Inverness. Particularly the route along the right side of the lake, leading to Inverness, is stunning: miles of waving grass, with the lake behind it, then patches of spruce and pine forests, and then again miles of peat moss - bright green, reddish-brown. Communication with Fernando was smooth, making for a seamless arrival. In short: an excellent place to stay for a few days!

Wonderful place to stay, one of our favorite Airbnb thus far and we’ve travelled quite a bit. The place feels brand new even though it probably isn’t and that show the amount of care and attention Rebecca and John put into it. Every datail is thought of for you - from a well stocked kitchen to a washer and room for bikes. Highly recommend if you are looking to travel the area - wouldnt think twice and would definitely come back for a summer version of the Highlands.

Great stay at a very family friendly location (great for young children). Very charming location and amazing history if you are into that sort of thing. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had one minor hiccup that we resolved very quickly (not at all the host’s fault) and he got back to our inquiry within the half hour. If you are exploring the Great Glen or Loch Ness, I cannot think of a better place to base out of.

We’ve stayed in some very impressive Air B&Bs across the world but this was far and away the most impressive. It was an extraordinary experience staying in the apartment in the old school building. The view from the great windows was breathtaking and everything inside the apartment was so well done - would highly recommend, in fact it’s a Must if coming to Loch Ness & the western Highlands.
