What a gem! The casita was lovely, the hosts were friendly, and the location is incredible. Gary was also very patient with my son, who was quite excited about the animals. The whole stay made it a great first-time-with-horses experience for him (he's already asking to go back!). Oh, and the muffins were fantastic.

Wow! Me and my girlfriend had an amazing experience at Danlees Casita. 5 Stars are actually not enough to rate it she deserves more 😉 We really felt extremely welcomed and deeply appreciated all the little details and anemeties that were offered and really made a difference for us. We instantly felt at home and really loved the decor and interior design. The place has such a beautiful energy. We plan to come back with more time to also explore the area. The communication with Danlee was very friendly and warm and we can only highly recommend her place to anyone who is looking for a cozy private and welcoming place to stay in the area.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking to be around fewer people than Santa Fe, beautiful views and great hiking trails and that “old New Mexico” feel. So many fun touches have been incorporated into the house and garden. There’s nearly zero traffic going by and the house is on a firm dirt road. The absence of restaurants and shops was a plus for us, yet those are available a short drive from town. The kitchen area is flooded with light and very functional and fun for cooking.
