I am so happy to have found Maricel’s home. I stayed here after a break up with my long time partner and just wanted a safe & quiet place while I got back on my feet. This casita had everything I needed, in a quiet place and felt so secure as a newly single woman in such a vulnerable place in her life. I stayed two and half months and felt so comfortable and secure. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, any shopping you may need minutes away. Maricel was so hospitable and had the cutest basket of goodies waiting for me and a handwritten welcome card when I checked in. This was definitely the little home I needed and couldn’t have asked for a better space during this time. I’d recommend this casita time and again to anyone.

Accommodations were extremely comfortable for our month-long stay and the hosts were quite responsive. Walking distance to shopping, wonderful park, library. Convenient to the city and surrounds, after learning the ‘spaghetti bowl’ of converging freeways.

Had a lovely stay at the hummingbird house. Loved the firepit and stargazing! It's not the fanciest place, but it was rustic, quiet, peaceful, and such a great getaway. If you're super tall you might have a bit of an issue with the loft bed. Super cute little house and definitely worth it!
