Monthly Rentals in Gortahork

We stayed in this beautiful place, away from the crowds and overlooking Mount Errigal. The location is stunning — on clear days, you can see the sea and rolling hills. Caoimhe’s house opens onto peaceful bogland, and we went for walks there every day. It’s simply beautiful. The house is fully loaded. Just bring your clothes and food. The fireplace with two big couches was perfect after long days of hiking and exploring — some of our favourite moments. We also enjoyed chatting with Ian and their son, Luke. On the last day, Ian left us with a question that kept us thinking the whole way home. An added bonus: Loki, the friendly border collie, and three playful cats (the “Gucci gang”) are always around. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to unplug and just be.

Beautiful property, even with the lovely Donegal weather. Spotless with all mod cons and in view of the local hotel and walkable shops, garage and pubs. Would return in a heart beat. Thanks Anne.

Rhonda's home is perfect in every way. Everything is as described. Rhonda is the best host, with impeccable communication and information. It was easy to find and close enough to several small towns to get a great feel of being in Ireland, while also being accesible to the natural wonders we came to County Donegal to enjoy. I loved our neighbors (of the animal persuasion) but can tell you, as an extremely light sleeper who is very sensitve to any noise, once you walk in and close the doors, you are in a soundproof home. I was worried I'd hear the donkeys braying at night, but not at all. We slept like babes in the very comfortable beds. The nearby beach walk recommended by Rhonda was lovely and one of our favorite escursions from the cottage, as was Friday night at Patsy Dan's. We had a wee trouble with the door that was 100% user error but it did afford us the opportunity to meet the caretaker, Robert, who was a real gem. Do not hesitate to rent this wonderful property.

Exceptional hosts and accommodation. We had a wonderful relaxing Easter break at Seamus and Fiona's eco-lodge. Beautifully decorated with sumptuous, comfortable decor in the living room and bedrooms. The kitchen had everything!!! We had such a wonderful, warm and personal welcome from Seamus with a pre-lit wood-burner, fresh eggs, homemade loaf and preserve and was on hand throughout our stay with very handy bits of local intel - all which made our stay so very memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The lodge is so close to Errigal, many, many, many beaches plus local pubs/ restaurants in Bunbeg, Gortahork and Falcarragh - fab location - suited us down to the ground. Sincere thanks to Fiona and Seamus, we all hope to return very soon. XX
