Having stayed in Nosara for several months, I can wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb, which I believe is the best-value accommodation in Nosara. On top of that, the location is excellent. The house is beautiful, well-maintained, and, most importantly, the hosts are incredibly kind, helpful, and always available. I can’t recommend it enough—go for it!

Luigi was extremely friendly and informative by providing all the information we needed to enjoy the Fiesta in Santa Cruz. He even drove us to the fiesta and walked around with us to explain the area. Luigi offered us beverages upon arrival. You should know that this area worked for us because we were going to the fiesta however it can be noisy at night because it is located right beside the highway. There were also dogs barking throughout the night which made a good sleep challenging. Luigi gets 5 stars from me because of his attentiveness and for being very welcoming.

Super very comfortable accommodation, may be a little far but for us that's what we wanted, extremely private. Howler monkey in the yard.

We really loved this Airbnb. The small casita was very comfortable, had great views, friendly animals that came to say hello regularly and was close to lots of activities near the lake and town. The space felt clean, super safe, and homey. We will definitely book again, our favorite place near the lake so far!!

I had an incredible stay at Joe’s place! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the space itself was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Joe is a fantastic host—super responsive, friendly, and always happy to help with any questions or recommendations. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach and great bars, yet tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. One of the highlights of the stay was the private “rooftop”, which offered a great spot to relax.. As someone who needed to get a bit of work done during my trip, I really appreciated the little desk setup. It was comfortable, and the fast internet made working remotely very easy. I can’t recommend Joe’s place highly enough and would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks again, Joe, for such a wonderful experience!

We stayed three nights in this brand new studio in April 2025, which is just one minute walk from a super nice beach playa San Miguel. Everything was fine and to a high standard, and we really enjoyed the small pool for a dip when it was hot. There is a safe parking behind the gate and we didn’t miss anything.

Michel and Lia were caring and very friendly hosts. We received a warm welcome and felt at home! We loved our stay in their studio - we were able to enjoy the lovely pool to cool off and the different facilities available to us. It was a real joy. Thanks again Lia and Michel!

Extremely responsive and knowledgeable hosts. We were greated right at the door and received a wealth of recommendations around the local attractions and wildlife. The gardens around the guest house were stunning! The hosts also included beach chairs and coolers for use at the beach which we found very helpful. My one critique; this is very much not a private stay. While still a highly rated experience, the blinds would not fully close and the outdoor pool/garden area was very open as it sits right behind the hosts home and had a camera. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend!

Our stay at this place was tropical perfection. The hosts have created a dreamy coastal escape that was better than we could have hoped for. This new property is beautiful, quiet and literally a few minutes walk from the beach. The studio is set back a comfortable distance from the main house so that it felt like we had plenty of privacy without being isolated. The new construction is beautiful and well-designed, providing plenty of natural indoor light and high ceilings to make it feel spacious. The air conditioning and fans were very efficient and effective. The back patio, outdoor shower and private pool make this feel like a truly luxurious bargain for the price. The hosts provided plenty of great kitchen amenities, including a full-size fridge, which comes in handy in such tropical climates. If you're visiting the area, we can't recommend this property highly enough. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We had an amazing time. Elena’s place was welcoming and very spacious. Enough out of the city that it’s quiet enough but walking distance to beach and all shops! Great host to deal with - Definitley recommend and will be back!

Casa Suave is a beautiful modern home with incredible pool and amazing views of Playa Carillo and Samara. It is high up in the Santo Domingo neighborhood. The road getting there is a little bumpy at times, but repair and maintenance of the road is pending. Nadia and her husband Richard were amazing hosts! We felt like we had made new “best friends!” The pool and patio area of Casa Suave and the spectacular views are amazing. Our room was downstairs and very private and comfortable with a plunge pool facing East. The landscaping all around the property is very beautiful with several varieties of blooming plants and palms. It is minutes away from several eateries in Samara and close to neighboring Playa Carillo.

Really great spot! The place is very close to the Santa Elena downtown (you can walk easily to restaurants, cafes, stores, etc.) but it also feels like a little private oasis, with great views, lovely shaded trees, great swing and the pool (our kid didn't mind that is wasn't heated!). Inside is cozy and comfortable. The hosts responded quickly, were kind and helpful.

Very nice to stay, nice kitchen, bathroom, comfortable room. Very well equiped. Definetely will try to sya there again!

The room had a really clean look with no clutter. Everything you will have at your home she had for you. The pool was clean and cool. I felt safe because of the locked gates

We loved everything about our stay. The bungalow was private, fully equipped and had the best outdoor shower ever! Vincent was incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions and connecting us with a tour. The whole place has a very welcoming and inclusive vibe and Milly was a great breakfast host and all day host! We will be back!

Great place to stay, beautiful surroundings and walkable to the nature preserve. Gino is a great host he was very friendly and helpful. The space was nice and clean and well equipped.

Sherry and Larry were excellent hosts and very hospitable. They take pride and joy hosting their guests which makes the experience staying at airbnb extra special. From the onset, we were greeted at the door and were given a comprehensive walkthrough. The place was immaculate and the views were drool worthy. A gentle breeze on the patio was perfect to stay cool while enjoying the views in the morning or evening. We also enjoyed their pool and their place was fully stocked with all the essentials including beach gear to borrow. We can't recommend this place enough and will be back! Thank you for hosing us :)
