Monthly Rentals in Hackthorn

Filly Green Cottage was a lovely find which suited our needs perfectly. The cottage was very clean, warm and super comfortable and is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Some nice touches from Mary such as a pint of milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and a fruit loaf. Nettleham is a lovely village, well serviced with a co-op, two pubs and a pharmacy off the Green and within view of the cottage. We enjoyed the ‘History Walk’ around the village, a leaflet was in the cottage. Our first time booking through Airbnb and it was a success. We will return!

The property was perfectly equipped and really well set up. It’s comfy, cosy and homely. Rachel texted us to keep in contact and checked in on us after our first night. We were so pleased with our stay. I’d go back.

I booked this accommodation for my son and his fiance along with their dog, so that we could all get together for Christmas. They said that they were comfortable, it was cosy and warm in the living room and bedroom but the bed was a little harder than they are used to. They loved that a gift was left for Bella - a very nice touch. When we have another family gathering, they will see if this place is available again.

We had a lovely stay and cottage is gorgeous, it is small but perfectly formed and I will stay again one day. It is quiet and peaceful and although yes technically it is in the garden of the owners, you would not know and still very private and secluded. Great location, you can walk in the countryside or find great pubs and restaurants close by plus shops if you need. I did not meet the hosts in person but they kept in touch with me through-out the stay to check if we needed anything. I 100% recommend this place, it is simply magical.
