Monthly Rentals in Harkers Island

We have stayed at roughly 50 different places across the country and nothing we've seen matches this place. Sitting at the dining room table, we were able to witness a spectacular sunrise, accompanied by multiple songbirds doing their thing, and for the finale, the dolphins lazily swam by 20 yards from the front lawn. Magical. The setting is beautiful, everything we needed was provided, the owners are wonderful, and the neighbors we met were very kind. Often times neighbors are a bit leery of being too chummy with guests they know will be off on their next adventure soon (understandably so.) Not here, felt like we'd been in the neighborhood for years. Our intention is to return often. Enough said.

This place was great. It was very quiet at night. Perfect walking distance to waterfront. Great size for a couple. Easy parking.

Great place, very clean and tidy. Immaculate. Well done. Everything provided. The place is in the middle of Harkers Island but large yard and quiet. The location is so cool you are Just down from the fairy that takes you to the lighthouse and one of the best walking trails I've ever been on along the sound at the end of Harkers island. It was such a delight to visit. So look forward to coming back. Thanks Margaret

It would be hard to adequately express how wonderful Janet's upstairs apartment is & how gracious, compassionate, & thoughtful she is. I came to Beaufort for 1 week to compete in the skydiving world championships; I had certain unusual needs that she was patient & open-minded about, & she supportively cheered me on through an exhausting, stressful week as I taught my online classes while competing at the dropzone (5 minutes drive from her house!). Janet's entire upstairs apartment is gorgeous & spotlessly clean, with every amenity one could desire. LOVED being able to watch Netflix shows I had missed (having canceled my own account) The kitchen was well-equipped & stocked with snacks. AC and wifi both worked great. The decor is exquisite, with original artwork by Janet herself! The furniture is beautiful & comfortable--firm, springy bed in which I slept like a log! Neighborhood feels friendly & safe. Janet & her sweet dog Chloe and both absolute gems, now friends for life. THANK YOU!
