Monthly Rentals in Hartford

This was our second stay at The Fal, so knew exactly what to expect. This is a great property, comfortable and clean. The location is great and the place is exactly what you expect from booking. Matt is a great host, very helpful and easy to contact. I would definitely recommend The Fal for anyone looking to stay here. I’m certain we will book again in the future.

This was excellent accommodation for grandparents and a family of five. Lots of space spread over three floors. The house had lots of pleasantly quirky features while being very up to date with IT, WiFi, speakers,etc. The hosts were very pleasant and responsive and the house was immaculate throughout. We had no problem parking two cars on the on street parking. A brilliant find.

Fiona’s cottage was amazing, very roomy. It had everything you could need - comfortable bed, couches, kitchen was well set out and the fire was welcome as the temperature had dropped just as we arrived. Even tho parking was on the road, there was plenty of room. We were close enough to Chester to visit relatives too. I’m afraid there is one negative - the shower. It took me longer to squeeze in and out through the narrow door than I actually took to have my shower. My husband also found it an issue, although not as much as me. Other than that, we loved our stay.

My family and I (husband & 3 teenage kids) have just had the most wonderful weekend stay at Jane’s Barn. We booked literally on the morning we wanted to stay, we had a very quick confirmation from Jane and everything was ready for us when we arrived. The barn is beautiful inside and out and everything was pristine inside, not a speck of dirt to be found! The barn is in a very peaceful location. There was plenty of space in the kids shared bedroom, the barn is bigger than it looks in the photos. The tennis court was an added bonus for the kids. We had a great day out to Chester which was a half hour drive and a great takeaway from a local village (6 mins drive) which was recommended by Jane. The kitchen is well stocked to include wash liquid dishwasher tabs etc. I have no hesitation in recommending Jane’s barn, our only issue was not being able to stay longer! We will be back!
