Private Home with Ocean View

AlexRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This space was very cool with amazing views of the ocean. The space was very clean. We ran out of propane for the hot water and the host replied immediately and replaced the empty tanks without hesitation, very attentive and reachable. It was a pleasure staying here. I recommend this space to anyone visiting the big island!

RomanticTropical Cottage-OceanView

ThomasRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Stunning cottage in a picturesque spot on the Kona coast. Everything was as described and more! The cottage has all the odds and ends that home would have (i.e. Tupperware to hold your freshly cut pineapple, a clothesline and clothespins to hang your wet beachwear, solar lights that light up all pathways at night) and makes vacation so much more enjoyable. My wife and I loved the fantastic snorkeling just minutes away each morning, reading in the mango hut, and soaking in the amazing views. Harry was a wonderful host and genuinely cares about his guests’ experience visiting the Big Island and his cottage. Can’t wait to visit again.

Oceanfront Cottage @ Kehena Beach

KristenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
You need to experience this place! It’s clean, quiet and peaceful. You can sit in the cute lanai that’s facing the ocean and hear the waves break on the shore. I felt so comfortable and at home. Best one I’ve experienced so far, since using Air BB. Thank you so much for letting us stay. We will DEFINITELY be back soon! MAHALO❤️

Honaunau Farm Retreat - Garden Cottage

CarlyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Hands down the most gorgeous place we have ever stayed. If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful get away, this is the place to be. Yoga, meditation and even a sauna. And the view from our cottage?? Breathtaking. The most beautiful sunset you’ll ever see every evening. And spectacular ocean views every morning. Everything was 10/10 and was the best way to spend our honeymoon. Steve was amazing and super friendly! Gave us great recommendations and walked us around the retreat to make us feel right at home. Couldn’t have chose a better spot. Definitely a bang for our buck and will be returning!!

Holualoa Ekahi -Country guest house,Taxes included

EllenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed just one quick night here after landing on the island. It was a great little space. Very clean, seemed brand new, convenient to town, and you could see the ocean from the cute front porch. The bed was very soft, like a cloud you melted into. Normally I don't like soft beds but this one was nice. It is a stand alone space but wasn't quite as private/secluded as I thought. In case someone wanted more privacy, but it wasn't an issue for us. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

An absolute gem of a place! It was incredibly beautiful, cozy, and peaceful. Jeff’s clear instructions made the process completely free of stress. I would definitely stay there again should I visit the Big Island again.

Great place to go off the grid. It had everything we needed. One of the staff members greeted us when we got there and showed us around. Very friendly and answered all our questions. A+. Beautiful place, would recommend. Just don't park under the coconut trees. :)

Bamboo Glamping Cabin

EliaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wonderful Airbnb. It felt so remote and authentic- the outdoor shower and bathroom were such a fun different experience. I will say the road to get there is pretty creepy at night and testy if you don’t have an off road car but we didn’t have one and didn’t damage the car! Overall it’s worth it and I recommend!! It’s so pretty in the mornings and the birds sing so pretty. They are a bit loud at night so if that’s not your thing go for it quieter place. The kitchenette was very accessible and helpful. The washer and dryer were also super helpful for us. The host’s detergent ran out so we had to buy some but no biggie! Would consider staying here again :)

Ohia Hideaway Bed & Breakfast

MurrayRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This place is definitely worth staying at while visiting the volcano. Not only does it have a clean and spacious bathroom, but the bedroom is also clean and very comfortable. Even though I only slept for a few hours before heading to the volcano, I slept like a baby. On top of that, the host was incredibly kind and provided a lovely breakfast the morning we checked out. Overall, I highly recommend this place—it truly felt like staying in my own home.

Incredible place! We were here for just one night, loved the decorations, the outdoor seating, the shower, and watching the stars when it got dark. It’s clear that Laura and her family have put so much effort into creating a comfortable, cozy and unique place to stay. Really felt welcomed and taken care of.

Special- Luxe Home with Hot Tub in Kailua Kona

ShaanRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Sundara’s place is absolutely magical. The pictures don’t do it justice at all! The location is very convenient as well. Just far away enough to enjoy some quiet in the evening but close enough to everything when you want to get out. However, the best part about our stay was how accommodating and thoughtful Sundara is as a host. There were goodies and coffee waiting for us when we got there. Anything you would need for a day out at the beach could be found too. When we tried out the snorkeling set Sundara had left for us to use, we found that it had a leak. That very evening after a long day at work, Sundara went out and purchased new sets for us. We had the same issue the next day. What did Sundara do? She went and bought new sets again! Hands down the best host we have ever had. Oh! Also, her guidebook recommendations on food are amazing. Please take the time to go through it 🙏

Mauka Pines - private cabin near Kona & beaches

TrevorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Loved our stay! Thoughtfully built and furnished cabin on a beautiful yard. Soft, cozy bed with A frame vibes - loved it! Basic kitchen to cook at home when you want to. Location is easy off the highway and at a nice place on the island to drive to many activities. Spencer was always responsive and helpful. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more.

Jungle Haven at ReKindle Farm

KarenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
we had the most amazing time at this beautiful stay in the jungle. it was perfect to get away and get off the grid. the outdoor shower and kitchen were some of the best features along with the sweet animals! the town is about 20 min out so plan accordingly. the drive in from either side is beautiful, ocean on one side and lava flows on the other. it is humid so expect a little dampness. also at night the coqui frogs are active and you can see the stars clearly from the outdoor bathroom. because things are run on solar power, we were mindful to conserve electricity and water. we will definitely be back again. we had a great vacation and a lot of it had to do with staying here.

Welcome House (Hale e Komo Mai) A corner of heaven

TamsRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Loki is an excellent host and the property is very peaceful and quiet. It is in a neighborhood with other houses close by, so I expected to hear normal neighborhood noises. This was not the case. I never heard a sound from the neighbors, except for an occasional dog barking. Loki is warm and welcoming, as are her husband and pets. I will definitely book this location in the future.

Romantic Treehouse in the Hawaiian Rainforest.

MeganRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Shannon's Treehouse was absolutely adorable and incredibly clean. I appreciated that there were so many pillows on the bed (10!) because I could choose what worked best for my comfort. Don't you hate it when there's just one tiny flimsy pillow? The neighborhood was so quiet and the vegetation outside was lovely and peaceful. I really enjoyed having a cup of tea downstairs while watching some chickens wander through the bushes. The location was a perfect homebase for traveling up to the mountain for hiking and again after dark to see lava glow. I will say that the bed was a bit soft for my taste, but that's a personal preference. Shannon was always quick to respond and gave some good recommendations for food in the area.

Secluded Kehena Beach Penthouse w/ Rooftop Deck

HollyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This place is exactly as pictured, if not better. It was easy to find, there were guests in the lower apartment that were very friendly and quiet, we barely knew they were there. We had a slight issue with the patio doors locking on us and Debbie their local rep came by within minutes to help us! (close them gently). The place was incredibly clean and cozy, the bed is comfortable and the chocolates, coffee and welcome Prosecco were very nice touches. We will miss waking up to the beautiful views and the sounds of the birds chirping. The rooftop deck was perfect for mid-day tanning and night-time star gazing (the stars were insane).
We did visit the nearby black sand beach, it was pretty but personally a bit too much nudity for us (haha) but if that’s your jam then it's worth checking out. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and nice to walk around in. In the future, adding a small cool-off pool would be amazing to beat the heat. We would love to come back! Thanks Jenn and Kristian.

The tree house is breathtaking. I went solo and it was amazing! I could feel the hustle and bustle of everyday life melt away in the wilderness. Great location, feels comforting inside, and sleeping when it rains, good luck waking up on time! Great experience, will do it again!
