The Lodge is a quaint, quirky very compact cosy place to stay. Jan is so welcoming and makes lovely fruit cake as I sampled on arrival! Which was most welcome after a long drive. Will definitely return but maybe in the spring or summer. The road leading to the village is pretty dark and quite narrow in places but the surrounding countryside is beautiful especially with the autumn colours.

A fantastic cosy place conveniently located near the local pub. Chris is a great host and I couldn't have asked for anything more. The log burner and TV with Netflix were the icing on the cake. I can't recommend this place enough.

Harriet made us feel very welcome. She was very quick in responding to any questions, prior to the trip. She had left us some delicious Shortbread and a jar of biscuits for our dog as well. The premises were very clean and the decor lovely.
