Lovely place, walking distance to the village. Everything we needed for a few nights away to chill after our wedding.

Enchanting cottage with beautiful, well kept grounds. Opening the front door to cows in the field opposite, it is a peaceful, tranquil setting with clear, bright stars to view at night. This cottage was perfect for our little family and dog. The cottage was immaculate, quaint and homely, with a modern kitchen/bathroom. It had everything we needed. The dog park was really helpful and it had an amazing laundry room on site. Plenty to explore locally and a great location for easy access to the Lake District. Would highly recommend and Kay & Andy were fantastic hosts. Thank you ☺️

Cool house with some original 16th century architecture Right bang in the middle of Appleby which has great amenities. Close to the fells and the lakes. Lots of walking for us and our dog. Loved our stay

We had the most wonderful time at Rutter Falls. We stayed in the mill right by the waterfall and it was just idyllic. I loved being able to watch the dippers and grey wagtails right from the window. The windows were very soundproof so noise from the waterfall was not an issue but it was lovely to open the windows in the morning and hear running water. The mill was beautiful. Bear in mind, the whole thing is open plan (except bathrooms) so if you stay with more than one couple, there isn’t traditional privacy behind doors. Sleeping areas are divided by curtains. Not a problem at all for us as we were just one couple. Very friendly hosts. Appreciated the home made bread and jam on arrival. The mill is stocked with puzzles and games in case of bad weather. Lovely walk along the river right on the doorstep. Be advised, there are 2 friendly dogs that use the shared yard so you might want to bear this in mind if anyone in your party has a fear of dogs. :) We loved our stay and hope to return
