Monthly Rentals in Howick

A very nice welcome. The lodge is beautiful. We recommend this little place of paradise for couples looking for a place to make a rural stop and discover the art of rebuilding with used materials. The results are surprising.

This is a lovely place and the host was very helpful with questions prior to our booking. There are two rental units at this location which wasn't super clear to me at time of booking. My party was in the downstairs and we could hear the upstairs folks a lot. Not a huge issue, but could be for some. Also some things to consider if you have any mobility issues: No railings for the front steps, high sided tub with no assistance handle, the toilet is tucked into a small area at the end of the shower and all of the furniture (including the beds) are very close to the floor with no assistance handles nearby. If mobility is not a concern, then this place is gorgeous. I wish we had been there during the warmer months to enjoy the lake.
