Il Rifugio is a special place. Intimate and decorated with great personality. It could only be in the setting of Montescudaio, an enchanting village, with an amazing view from every angle. I chose it for the great location, both from the many beaches and seaside towns, and to reach all the various beauties of Tuscany. Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa Lucca, Florence, etc... I'm really satisfied. And as I said to Francesco, I'll definitely be back. 🙋🏻‍♂️

This is a beautiful little house, very quiet with a stunning view! We absolutely loved our stay - including an amazing wine tasting :)

A wonderful experience to stay in Claudia’s historic family home, so beautiful. The beds were comfortable, easy walk to all the little stores and restaurants in Guardistallo. We had coffee each morning at the local “ bar” and were welcomed like friends by Giovanni and his staff. We loved joining in with village life at the Polenta Festival and the little local market. Very good value in a beautiful Tuscan village. We did not have a car but used the local bus to travel to Cecina for shopping and a day out. A wonderful, peaceful week for us, Thank You, Claudia and Alessandro, you were both so helpful and Alessandro even drove us the the train station in Cecina for our onward journey

My furry Otto and I had a great time at Alessandro's place. The Residence is very nice, surrounded by a very well cared for green area. A few steps from the property there is a fantastic forest where you can walk in tranquility even with our four-legged friends. The location is convenient both to get to Cecina and to get to the pretty villages of Guardistallo, Casale Marittimo and Montescudaio, which are just a few minutes away by car. Alessandro is a very friendly and helpful host! Definitely recommend.
