Tiny house holiday rentals in Illinois

Lovely property, friendly hosts, and comfortable accommodations. We really enjoyed our stay at Jilly and Ken Bob’s! We were looking for a spot in the country where we could let our dogs off leash. We explored the grounds during the day and went back out at night to enjoy the stars. It was amazingly peaceful and just what we needed. The dogs were in heaven and loved their new doggie friends too :)

Elizabeth is an incredible host and her house truly feels like a home away from home. The upstairs was the perfect little private loft for my youngest. She was able to play music and games, as well as watch tv and we never heard a thing during the entire visit. We opened the door to the stairs a few time just to make sure she was still alive up there it was so quiet. The bedroom on the first floor was more than ample with a luxurious amount of closet space. We settled in to her home like it was our own. The town is really a lovely spot in its own right. We’ve used AirBNB in Chicago before and usually we spent every moment in the city as the surrounding areas weren’t appealing. This spot made it very easy to get around if you are walking & you could get to a bunch of other hot spots with a quick drive. There is even a wonderful park & fishing a few minutes away. just about any spot in town was under 30 minutes. Best of all Elizabeth is an absolutely joy to work with, so just book it now

Emma’s cottage was the cutest! Perfect for our vacation, so peaceful, lovely, safe and clean! We absolutely loved our stay in beautiful Nauvoo at Emma’s Cottage. And enjoyed the Historical sites! Thank you Sara for the recommendations for restaurants too… We’d definitely stay here again! -~Yvonne

We loved our short stay here! We wanted to get away from the city and this spot was perfect. Its the cutest cabin with everything you need for your stay! We went to a few wineries nearby and the locals were very friendly, overall great experience and I'd definitely recommend, would love to come back! 😊❤️

The home is comfortable, clean, super cute and close to campus, downtown, the ISU sports facilities and much more. We’ll definitely book here again if our travels bring us back to Normal.

This tiny little home is everything described and more😊 don’t let the size fool you it, this home accommodated 3 adults perfectly!! It was the perfect lil place for us to lay our heads for a good nights sleep! I would highly recommend Alicia’s tiny home if you are passing through the area!

We had such a fun night away at Ambers! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. We used the hot spot on our phone and brought a laptop to stream Netflix during our stay. The hot tub was perfect to unwind & the chicken and cats were such a sweet surprise. The shower was amazing and we slept great in the bed. The linens were so comfortable! 10/10, will be back. 😍

Super unique place! There was ice on the river, bald eagles, ducks and geese to watch. Just really pretty. Nice out of the way place but yet super close to everything.

I am just sad I was only staying one night! I loved my stay here and would definitely come again on my travels! The space was perfect and comfortable and I loved it. Tracy was very responsive and I was even able to check in a little early.

My wife, friends, and I were in the area for the Tunnel Hill 100. The location of the house was great. Only about 25 minutes from Vienna City Park where the race started. There was plenty of room for all of us. The home was exceptionally clean, and the views of the lake were amazing. Megan was a great host. She quickly answered all of the questions I had and kept in good touch with us. I am considering returning to the race next year. Catching Rays is definitely a place I would return to.

We absolutely loved staying in the Little Slice of Heaven cabin. It was private. Looked exactly like the pictures. The inside was extremely clean and very well organized. Not cluttered at all. Everything you could need was provided. We came during the winter, but really wanna come back during the summer to sit out by the pond. Communicating with Crystal was very easy. If you’re really hungry, go to Gabby andGranny‘s Restaurant. Their food is family style, and it was the best catfish bites we have ever had!

Amazing!!! It’s been so long since I’ve seen the night sky that bright and the sound of nature and nothing else, I’d call it the stillness and symphony of nature! They have everything you need & the host I met was very kind and sweet. I felt very safe there

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway.

The view of the river and having all windows on that side was a great experience. Check-in was straightforward and easy. The neighborhood was fine and walkable but you have to realize you are in a neighborhood where you cannot get to much of anything by foot. That said the restaurant that is close by is very good so that makes a dinner out easy.

Wonderful cabin with modern amenities but an old-time feel. Squeaky clean, comfortable, pretty but not fussy. We love it here!

Amazing..you need to stay here. Stream on property that deer use. Enjoy the fire ring and opt to turn off all the lights for the most fantastic night sky. Home is comfortable and everything is user friendly. Great sleep. Shawnee National Forest nearby— gotta see Gardens of the Gods. Thank you for sharing your home.

The Virginia Lake Cabin is on a beautiful lake. The property is very peaceful. Love that this peace of history has been preserved for us to enjoy. The cabin is bigger than it appears in the photos. The soaker tub is amazing. The bed is very comfortable. The trail around the property is tranquil. The generous sample of honey is delicious! Would love to come back & enjoy some of the warmer outdoor activities that this cabin offers. It is close to Springfield if you want to explore some of the things they have to offer. Lots of history on Lincoln, the Dana Thomas House, shopping, etc…

Place was great clean cozy and warm. Unfortunately had an emergency come up but was really nice the amount of time we spent it. Would definitely recommend.
