Beautiful home with beautiful views of the mountains. My mother and I were visiting from the US and we spent a great deal of time out on the balcony area, which had a perfect view of the Kullu Valley. Her husband took us on a hike up the mountain, which was exhilarating and lots of fun. Her daughter even took us to a Hindu festival to look around and try some local foods. The family was super friendly about helping us with transport and food. It’s about 20 minutes out of Akhara Bazaar. 10/10 recommend. ☺️ Also, this was my second time in Kullu-Manali and I realized after I booked that I’d actually met Gurmeet two years prior when I was in Dhalpur teaching English! She is a super sweet and smart lady and was a wonderful hostess along with her daughter and husband

First of all, I'm so grateful that I had booked this stay with Vishal bhai ji. Initially booked for a day, we extended for 4 days and had the best experience. The stay was very comfortable and the food was very much homemade, thanks to Ankush bhai ji. Overall we made a lot of friends and memories, special mentions to Ms. Molly, the queen of Malana 😉.

Madhavi is an exceptional host! From day one, she welcomed us with open arms and truly embodies the spirit of what a BnB stands for. She is incredibly accommodating, always ready to assist with anything you need, and her warm, friendly nature makes her a joy to converse with. Her cooking is absolutely delightful—don’t miss the chance to try her amazing plum cake! One of the standout features was the snack counter with a convenient QR code payment system, which I found to be a thoughtful touch, especially since there are no nearby markets in Matteura. Whenever I visit Matteura again, I will undoubtedly stay here. Highly recommended!

Our stay at this beautiful three-storey villa in the village was truly special. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the amount of space the property offered made it even better. The wooden house had such a cozy and warm feel, making it the perfect place to relax. The three huge bathrooms, especially the one with a jacuzzi, added to the comfort. What made the stay even more memorable were the added amenities-stargazing on the loft net, a bonfire, and a swing, all of which made for some great moments. The caretaker was extremely helpful and responsive, and having a menu with amazing food was a great bonus. But what really stood out was the peaceful surroundings-it truly felt like a perfect staycation. The locals were so kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in nature!
