Monthly Rentals in Johns Hopkins Homewood, Baltimore

I was staying for a week for a residency at Johns Hopkins, and the location of this apartment was just perfect! Close enough to restaurants, grocery, liquor stores to be convenient, but a couple blocks away so that it was also peaceful and not directly in the noise. The proximity to 29th St. made it great for walking down to R House (an amazing food court), and made for a great starting place for some good running routes that took me through Hampden & Guilford. It's about a mile walk through nice neighborhoods to Hampden. The apartment itself is all that Baltimore charm you'd expect. Unique but not pretentious. It felt comfortable and safe. The older structure meant I could hear the upstairs neighbors walking around, but we were on pretty much the same schedule so not too much of a disruption. Yvette, the host, has an office in the building so I said hi a couple times. She was always friendly and made sure I had everything I needed but also gave me plenty of space. Would def stay again

This was our second stay at Joe’s charming home. We have stayed at a lot of AirBNBs, and this one is one of our favorites. It’s such a comfortable and pleasant space on one of the best blocks in Baltimore. Within walking distance to the Avenue in Hamden, and across the street from the walking trails along Stony Run, which are great for walking dogs or just enjoying some urban wilderness. Jason was an awesome host! Very easy to get into contact with for anything that came up. Was there for a month and felt like home. Only gripe I had was not a ton of cooking/baking supplies like measuring cups etc. but would stay again. Also the front desk ladies downstairs were all wonderful!

Basement unit was clean, nicely decorated, and had comforts of home. Lots of nice touches. Full kitchen was well stocked. The location was great in that it was within walking distance to Johns Hopkins, nearby restaurants, and a grocery store. Parking wasn't a problem. The neighborhood had lots of trees and greenery. It was a neat area to be in. Sally provided terrific instructions and information about the area. She was responsive to any questions or needs which came up.
