If you're looking to get away somewhere where the world can't find you, you can't do much better than Lost Lake, which is a peaceful 20 minute drive west from Shelton. And if you're staying on Lost Lake, you can't do much better than Debbie's house, which sits on a point sticking right out into the middle of the lake. Water on three sides! The house is simple and comfortable, and if the weather's nice you won't want to leave the patio--BBQ, large dining table, patio chairs, and raised firepit. And of course, hopping in the kayaks and paddleboats to tour the lake is a must. We came here for an unusually sunny and warm April weekend but would definitely come back for high summer!

This is the 3rd time I stayed at Telissa's lovely apartment. The location is perfect for me. I visit my dad at Shelton Rehab, which is only 10 minutes away. It is just a short drive to stores, Shelton restaurants and Allyn, where there are also a few places to eat. I especially enjoy the view. When it's clear, Mt. Ranier comes into view. And the water below. So peaceful. The kitchen is well-stocked so I can prepare my own food. And I love the fresh eggs straight from her chickens. Any time I go to Shelton, I look forward to staying at Telissa's place.

I highly enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again!
