Monthly Rentals in Katthammarsvik

Nice and cozy cabin, and very good location. Very close to child-friendly beach with possibility to buy ice. Also great for the kids to be able to borrow duplo, books and puzzles in the cabin! Nice area for both excursions, swimming and good food. The only downside must be that the sun disappeared from the cabin's patio at about 8 pm. A little light in the bedrooms in the morning, so a tip might be to bring a sleeping mask. Anyway, we had a great stay in the cabin and on Gotland! :)

Very good location for hiking after the beautiful east coast. Perfect accommodation for 4 people. Maybe not the right season if you wanted to eat out, as most restaurants are closed in October.

We had an amazing weekend staying in Maria's cottage in the old fishing village (the classic gotlandic fiskeläge). The cottage had all the amenities we needed and the bed was really comfy. The location is simply breathtaking and amazing, with a great swimming spot right outside your door. Lots of great walks and mountainbike rides in the area; we saw an old watermill (Hammars Vattenkvarn) and a very impressive iron age gravesite with more than 300 graves (Trullhalsa). Maria was a very nice host. She gave us recommendations on where to go, and we bought delicious fresh eggs and apple must from her farm. We visited in late September and had great temperatures and could take many swims, proving that the shoulder seasons on Gotland are amazing (especially the late summer). We can highly recommend Maria's cottage! Thanks for a great stay.
