Great place and Pataua is magic. Graham's place is terrific and kept meticulously. It was peaceful and well appointed. Very functional and well supplied kitchen and great grill on the lovely deck. We were only able to stay a couple nights but this was a great spot to see Pataua from.

Sandra's airbnb is a great place to stay in a beautiful spot. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. Sandra is a friendly and welcoming host. A great beach is nearby and easily accessible, with Russell and the Bay of Islands within easy driving range.

Kathryn’s place was a highlight while in New Zealand. During the day one is treated to the sounds of bird singing in the forest, at night we heard a kiwi. The setting is forest tranquillity but only a 15 minute walk into town and the ferry. The walk is flat with the exception of the steep driveway where we saw a quail family with the tiniest little chicks. The house was spotlessly clean with thoughtful extras like fruit, chocolate and eye masks for sleeping. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Pauline is a lovely and welcoming host and the accommodation was clean and spacious. The location was fantastic and the beach was accessible by a path in front of the house. Amazing views! We loved our stay!

Sarah’s place was awesome and in a truly beautiful location. It had everything you need to cook a nice meal while also being close to all Northland has to offer. Would love to stay again

Our stay in Kohinui Cottage was all we had hoped for. We had everything we wanted, as well as plenty of little bonuses, like fresh eggs from the chooks just outside the cottage. Andrea and Mike very very friendly and approachable and made sure we had everything we needed. The kids loved the chooks, sheep and neighbouring cows and all the different things to do in the games barn. It's a really beautiful property and I'd highly recommend staying there.

It was a very nice, relaxing stay in the wonderfully designed accommodation with the beautiful garden area. The hospitable Keri made it easy for me to feel at home the whole time. The very nice pool is a must, it makes the stay even more perfect. The location is a dream. The center is easy to reach and the many trails invite you to explore the beautiful landscape. I can recommend the accommodation without reservation.

We loved our stay. The hosts were incredibly helpful and hospitable. The location was perfect- close to all the shops and activities but far enough away to have a peaceful place to rest. The home is well appointed with all needed items as a guest and very inviting. Highly recommend. We will be back for our next stay in Paihia!

Lovely place to stay. Located just a 15 min drive from most of the best beaches in the area. Very nice location with a private walk access to a local secluded bay. Angela is a lovely host. Highly recommend!

Kereru Lodge was a very peaceful, clean and bright place to stay while my husband and I explored the local areas, learned about the local history and went on a one day bus trip to the tip of the island. The accomodation was a lovely wee retreat for us; the view was stunning!!! Manon was very friendly and helpful. The items provided for breakfast were great!

Nicky was friendly and accommodating and the information she provided was accurate. We loved the suggestion sheet she provided re where to visit, the best coffee etc.

Immaculate home with beautiful views of the bay from the covered terrace. Great to chill out, also very handy for Pahlavi and the Opua coastal track. Bev was so friendly and helpful.

Definitely one of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Such a beautiful spot, everything you would need, Tania was an incredible host! The hot tub snd sauna were top notch and the homemade bread and spreads were delicious. Amazing value for money

What a gem!! Ian's place is totally awesome. It feels brand new with very nice touches (such as bathroom light with motion sensor or having the fridge in adjacent walk in closet to ensure undisturbed sleep). We loved the porch with the BBQ! The bed was super comfortable, good shower pressure and fluffy towels. Ian was super friendly and gave us great tips. Honestly I would love to stay for longer. Very much recommended indeed! 10/10 :-)

This is the kind of Airbnb that makes you want to stay longer. Everything about the unit was of high-quality and well-maintained. There was a very helpful and thorough information booklet. Nice to provide snacks and treats as well as beach supplies. Elmari clearly takes pride in the service she provides. We loved the area for walking along the beach and exploring coastline towns. But we could’ve been completely satisfied, just sitting on the apartment deck and watching Cable Bay.

Excellent location, homely and Ruth was available for helpful advice. Loved the tomatoes Ruth gave us and access to garden fresh veges. We did a light load of washing and had a great BBQ in the evening, thank you Ruth.

Great place, great hosts. We welcomed very warmly when we arrived. All instructions were given at check in and were clear and easy. Very peaceful and secluded from the road. Lovely pool that we used whilst cooking our dinner on the provided BBQ. Highly recommend

Good location for a our one night stop over after snorkelling at Tutukana. Easy walk to get take away food. Very comfy bed. Helen was very welcoming.
