Monthly Rentals in Kilmelford

We stayed for a few days at The Boat House, a really peaceful and quiet place to stay. Everything in the house is clean and modern and we had no problems at all with anything. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

An amazing place! Immaculately clean, and very well-equipped, we loved staying here. Louisa was a very friendly host and explained everything before leaving us to it. Oban is about 20-25 minutes' drive away, with supermarkets, shops and restaurants and plenty of opportunities for boat trips, beach days and island-hopping. We went with my parents (72 and 77) and 10 year old daughter, and two energetic labradors and the week flew by. The house is quite remote, but we loved that.

The cottage was cosy peaceful and set in a beautiful location. Some lovely walks with the dog so pack your hiking boots . All locals very friendly. Horses close by and sheep with lambs was a nice touch . Shops a short drive away. Stars too many to count. Nice wood burner for them cosy evenings in 😊

What a beautiful place. so quiet and tranquil, the dawn chorus was so amazing. The home is clean and very comfortable and very much home from home. in fact I found the kitchen to have the best selection of utensils we've found in any place we've stayed. The downstairs wet room is amazing I now want one. The beds are comfortable with duvets big enough to curl up in, if the weather was cold. The only negative thing is the weather was that glorious all week long we never got chance to use the log burner. communication was excellent, with clear instructions. I can't fault Marie, or her beautiful home. Thank you so much for an amazing, relaxing time. We shall be back.
